Goldcap Changed to 1 million gold.

Lesson One: Don't spend money on gear. Most cases it will only last one tier. Which is like 3 months. If I hadn't spent money on gear I would probably have around 300k gold in my bank. Looking back all I can think is what a waste. I now only use gold to buy things that are forever, like mounts.

LoL, I used my trusty Titansteel Guardians until 4.0 where they let us buy rated weapons on my shammies. Spent 2500 each when they came out.

Why not spend gold on gear? Gold is there to be spent really. No point in letting it 'rot' in bank instead of using it for fun/usefull purposes.

I was just reported for buying gold because i showed someone the goldcap was now over the old cap... by showing them 300k. This makes me giggle.

well... 20g a daily ( used to be) x 25 a day is 500g a day per toon. or 5k per account. 5box teams could get 25kg a day just from doing dailies. 2 weeks, with nothing on sundays and youll have your 300k.

This doesn't make sense - who is going to run dailies on 50 toons every day for 2 weeks?

Edit: Ok let's say it takes 1 hour to run 25 quests (being pretty quick about it). That's 10 hours of solid questing a day. I smell bullshit.

I never said it would be fun, and 2 weeks was pretty quick. spread it out over 10 weeks, 2 hours a day. youll get 300k every tier. easily enough to fit out major toons with quality gear / professions and whatnot. I never have a gold problem apart from space to put it all.

I couldn't even stomach that myself, i think i got to like 800 kills and was like "f this" so hats off to the guy who did it... though he hasn't been on MSN in ages.
