I use the original (non-stealth) Razer Black Widow Ultimate.

The Razer Black Widow Ultimate has 5 macro keys and the Corsair K90 has 18 (I think); however, the Corsair K90 keyboard
isn't all mechanical. I'm sure there are others that have macro keys as well.

Any recommendations on quiet mechanical keyboards? The more illuminated the better.

    Currently rolling with a G16.

There. I buy into Razer Black Widow. and oh boy, this thing is loud. I am like shooting a machine gun. But with each sound, the trigger clicky feeling is very good.

When people told me Cherry MX Blue switches were loud I thought they were going to be much louder than they actually
were (think IBM Model M Keyboard from the 80's). I have no idea how loud the new Stealth Edition BlackWidow's are but,
I've taken quite a liking to the sound of my non-stealth BlackWidow.

Also, the "trigger clicky feeling" is what is described as tactile feedback.

For everyone else, if you're trying to use the non-stealth BlackWidow late at night while someone is trying to sleep in the
room next to you they may not like you very much. Fortunately, I do not currently have that problem.

I replaced my Logitech G11 with a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate and I absolutely love it. I like backlit keys, and the other mech keyboards seem to omit that feature. I almost got the Steelseries, but someone pointed out the half size backspace button, which would drive me NUTS!

If Logitech makes a mech gaming keyboard, I might switch, but I'm starting to take a liking to Razer. Maybe I'll switch out my G700 mouse for a Razer Naga...
