For me non RAF boosting is not quite as hellish as you say.

To each their own, but you haven't done all 80 levels yet so you can't really speak on that front. After you've done 80 levels of non-RaF boosting, you might end up changing your story.

You'r Alliance I'm Horde so that could be another factor.

This changes like... 2 instances at the very beginning of the game.
