Cannot figure out how to get follow and assist to work in inner space / ISboxer...

I followed the guide by by Darkmod here, and couldn't make anything work at all.

I watched the videos by mosq2 here, and was even more confused.

It's been a couple years since I worked in innerspace / ISBoxer to get all my wow accounts set up and they still all work to this day.

Part of my problem is it appears that both Darkmod and mosq2 have clean copies of ISBoxer (I didn't see any other WOW or other game modifications in their walkthroughs), and I have my three teams of five 85s from WOW still.

Is it possible to run a second copy, a clean copy of innerspace/ISBoxer and not lose my old settings? Is this what's fouling me up or is it just that I don't get it?

I'm going to try again now to set it up following Darmod's isBoxer Follow / Assist SWTOR for NOOBIES, but I spent nearly 4 hours on it last night.

I may come back here begging for help again, since I really want to just two box two sentinels!

Malgor, yes you can have a clean copy of ISBoxer. I am assuming you have a saved copy of your existing WOW configuration. (Just to make sure I would do a "save as" of your current setup and put it somewhere that you will be able to find it). Then you can go under the file menu and hit the top option which is clear. This resets ISBoxer back to the original state. Now you have a clean slate to start your new configuration. I am currently using the setup by Darkmod and it works great for me. But either one will work. Just follow his instructions and you should be running in no time.

If you ever want to go back to the WOW version just save your existing SWTOR setup, and reload the old saved WOW set. Of course I know you know to export to Inner Space after you load a new setup.

I thought it was possible.

I am using Darkmod's now, but I cannot get anything to work unless I have Broadcasting on. I don't want broadcasting on if I can help it. If I have broadcasting off my second character does nothing, just my first character. I finally got my set up to look exactly like Darkmod's one and all the keys function correctly if I am broadcasting, but not if I am not. I have the configuration set to all w/o current, but only my current window selects anything unless I'm broadcasting. Perhaps that's how it is supposed to work?

For follow, Mosg has some strange stuff, like jumping and all... he says that it has to be that way, but I got it working without that.

I just have the ~ key bound to my follow keymap and also am using ~ for the hotkey in ISBoxer. I have my keymap set up to send F2 to all others (I only have a 2-man setup), and then ~ and it works just fine

For assist, I have it send F2 to all others and then F6 to all others (F6 is my ingame 'target of my target' key)

This setup works just fine for my two man team.

Mine is just a two man team also. Right now I'm getting used to Ctrl+1 for target party member 1 and Insert for follow, however it all only works with broadcasting on. Still will have to figure out why, but getting used to it right now.

There is a problem if you mix CTRL keys with non-CTRL keys I've seen. Same thing for ALT- and SHIFT-. That might be your issue, and it's why I went with ~ and F6

I went also now with ~ and F6, but still cannot make these work without being in broadcasting mode.

As has been mentioned in numerous places already... in SW:ToR, keys with modifiers, require the HOLD option to be enabled for them to work correctly.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that before, but now they don't work at all after enabling the HOLD option. So will tweak it later when I have time.
