The mount works like a regular 5-man mount for everybody.

If someone summons the mount and you are in that persons "hive" you will give them a % speed bonus. If you're not in their hive then you wont.

Check out Xyl41's post on first page for the speed bonus testing.

That post is a bit confusing, specifically (excerpted below, bold mine), Xyl41 states that the druids (who were the "group") could not enter the Hivemind of a paladin who didn't earn in. However, the speed examples look like the druids could enter the paladin's Hivemind. as there's a speedup once the second and later druid enters the mount. I think the sentence about druids not being able to enter the paladin's hivemind is likely wrong, but I don't have personal testing to validate that.

I then logged onto my paladin (who was not part of the hivemind group) and my druids could not enter his hivemind mount. Next I logged into an entirely different group (but on the same accounts) and they were able to join the hivemind together (they are level 43). At this point I swapped back to my paladin for speed tests.

Hivemind mount (0 inside) - 430%
