Having not known what gather mate was I looked it up.

Apparently it's a legit mod that tracks the locations you've gathered from. Ok, so my thoughts on this is that this inadvertently got you banned.

When I gather I don't use mods that highlight my herb locations. So for example if I farm in zones I am just usually wandering around aimlessly on a loose circuit looking for herbs to gather. But if I had this addon I'd be more likely following a very specific pattern knowing where they spawn.

Ok so having said all that what the GM probably witnessed was your characters repeating a specific set of locations over and over again. Very bot-like behavior.

If this is the case then your accounts got mixed up with what bots typically do. Multiboxers already get tons of reports thrown at us because players hate what we do. Normally it's a non-issue but this can look like a bot and that may have been enough to get your 6 month suspension. As someone else said above this all assumes you are being honest with us.

I did say inadvertently.

Gathermate tracks locations of herbs. So if you were going from A to B to C in a repetition for a while as the GM was watching you it would look just like what botters do. Versus someone who doesn't use an addon like this farming herbs would not always be going to the same spot.

I understand other people use Gathermate and that using it isn't against the ToS. I was just pointing out the possibility they saw him using it and assumed he was botting.

Still no. Running around looking like a bot will get you reported.

Failing a GM check will get you suspended. They don't just look at what you're doing.

Im also thinking that i may look like a bot but i have done all those things myself.It seems looking like a bot and a real bot is same in GM's eyes.I just hoped that they would give me a warning first before auto-banning them all.Right now i cant even defend myself to them.Nothing i said made a difference.They believe im a bot because i looked like one.I cant say anything else then ''not fair'' and have to swallow it up.
