On the other hand, IWT also turns on CTM as part of it's process.

You could emulate this same behaviour in your own mapped key. Check out the ISB42 - Party -> IWT Standard mapped key for how to set this up.

thx for your reply, but where should i be adding this in my setup?
combat hotkeys, virtual hotkeys (guess not in here) or character specific mapped keys

Was this automatically CTM off also in the normal version of ISboxer?

Well, if CTM is never disabled, then presumably you wouldn't need to enable it??

If you are happy enough with it being enabled/disabled as required, in the character specific mapped keys, you can have them call a Do Mapped Key Action to ISB42 - WOW -> Click to Move On, and send it to Window:Current (so they will turn it on for themselves). You might get a timing issue here, which would mean the character specific mapped key may need a second Do Mapped Key action to call another mapped key for the action you actually want. To get around that, then you need to move this call to the Enable CTM to the upper level before calling the virtual mapped key. |This would mean changing the target to a wider audience, like an ATG.

That is was, but it was a more obvious option of how to stop it from turning off, which was using the IWT mapped key that didn't turn off CTM. In the current setup you can go to ISB42 - WOW, and shift+leftclick on the Click to Move Off mapped key to disable it, so it wont turn off CTM.
