You know exactly what I'm going to say... And that is that you should go with Intel.

The 8350 seems like such a small increase over the 1100T and AMD was criticized for so long because their Bulldozer chips were less powerful than the prior generation Phenoms when they were released. The 8350 is a Vishera chip which is the next step up after Bulldozer, but it's still far from the cream of the crop.

I guess my question is... Why are you in such a rush to upgrade right at this moment? You're looking to upgrade your machine for WoD, which is still months away, but can you not continue to save up more money over the next few months in order to make the move toward Intel?

Right now you have £300, but in the next few months surely you can save up another £200?

I've rounded up on the prices, but you you can even pick a cheaper motherboard if you'd like. The one I've got selected there was a quick pick and will allow you to throw a bunch of video cards in it and SLI them together (assuming nVidia) if you'd like.
