All the tanks pretty much do good DPS with vengeance. I love how my bear can symbiosis my holy paladin and gets consecration. My buff rotation has a macro

    /target chivalrous
    /cast symbiosis

My tank spam button has symbiosis in it which, for my team, is always consecrate and the Druid tank also has great mitigation and good self healing with frenzied regeneration.

Holy paladin is wonderful, I have him attack and use crusader strike and denounce and holy shock, I have light of dawn and a sacred shield macro in his rotation, and I use isboxer to phase him out if I need him to stop goofing and heal serious. But most of the time between him and my shamans off heals, he just attacks with my melee group and I'm fine. I can do all of shadopan this way except bosses and the nasty trash packs near end.

Yeah I played a tank druid back in cata and they were super fun, they had the highest dps of all tanks and were pretty close to other dps classes.

Paladins also make great healers, I think I went with a priest mainly because I've played one since vanilla and it's the healer I'm most comfortable with, I figured if I was going to 5 box I might as well take at least 1 class I was decent at playing.

I started cata yesterday and at first it was pretty frustrating, It was the first time I had to think about actually gearing my guys because the BOAs stop leveling. It was pretty shocking seeing them still wearing level 45 gear =P. Not to mention the lack of shields, My pally was still using a shield she got in SM.

I found the gear transition from BC to Cata hell on five characters, I didn't want to fork out crap load of gold to buy boe from the AH so I had to quest until they were all high enough to start dungeons, that was frustrating! But the dungeons have been fairly simple for now, even though my gear still isn't great. I wish I could afford the 410+ MoP BoE weapons though!

It's generally pretty cheap to upgrade a team with the lowest level of tailoring gear for any xpac.
