At any rate, this change will not affect the way you play the game if you currently RBG or Arena. Other people getting routes to progression is not a step in the wrong direction, its opening currently closed avenues of progression to an untapped population. With more people pvp'ing perhaps more focus will go into content creation for it, and then ultimately, free waffles and costco.

pvp was the main reason i played this game.
This will be a huge boost for boxers that dont like arenas. Myself included... i love the bigger mapped bgs.
BGs are pvp too, why do us Battlegrounders have to do stupid arena to get good pvp gear? Battlemaster Atox approves of this change. Lets face it, I only do Arena for points each week anyway, not like any Joe Blow can't do that either!!
Pft, my 14 year old clicker brother can win arena matches for weekly point cap. All you gotta do is have a Dk partner and you are set.
Frostmourne (Oceanic) - Bloodlust - Alliance - 10 Boxer
This will make more ppl do BGs -> more arena teams -> faster ques -> more wins against not-so-great-pvpers
Playing devil's advocate for a second, the only reason I can come up with is that with BGs awarding conquest points, there will be fewer noob teams for the arena "pros" (lol) to farm for early points. Additionally, it should make it harder for people to "carry" others to higher ranks if that proves true. Arena folks should love this change as it will mean fewer casuals will be cluttering up the arena ladders, making for more exciting and competitive arena play.
Ultimately, more choice can only be a good thing.
Now playing: WoW (Garona)
So the only point of arenas is 2200 weapons? Also I dont buy that there will be more noobs in arena, in fact I bet there are less. If I can get my conquest points in BGs why bother? Isn't this a single player game?
