Anytime I tell my Spacegirls to move somewhere, there is a chance they might be interested in something and decide to venture off to investigate...
I hear Spacegirls are not the only ones susceptible to this.
If you have Click to Move enabled, and it needs to be for IWT to move your toons, then be careful anytime you mouse broadcast or use a Repeater Region on your screen.
If you have your toons IWT a target, be ready with your countermeasures against toons running off.
You can prevent this with:
A) Slave independent movement key... in the IS Boxer toolkit, look up the mapped key, "Others Jump". The target is Window: All Without Current. I have the arrow keys go to my slave windows only, which allows me to press down arrow, and have the slaves stop moving.
B) Have them IWT with something else... IWT has a range approximately 3x further than /Follow... You can give them a new target as a means to regroup.
C) If all your toons are fairly close, or the mob is dead and combat has just ended, press your /Follow hotkey.
Aside from when you use IWT in conjunction with CTM, toons running off is not that common.
As you go on, you get used to running wide around corners in cities (so the followers don't get stuck on corners), or checking that they've followed as you cross a phase line in wow (independent slave movement, up arrow for me... can have them move forward independently, to each cross the phase line), etc...
