My hunters are 37 now. I'm actually instance locking myself I clear them so fast. This is only marginally slower (25% maybe) than PLing myself through SM on a DK.

I feel like I've got the ultimate sub level 69 pet setup.

    Cat
    Wolf
    Fox
    Bear
    Turtle

Gets me +str +agil +crit -10% AP on mobs and -20% attack speed on mobs + the uber tanking of the turtle.

It certainly helps that I am BOA'd up but holy sweet jesus my pets can tank like 10 mobs once I start bursting them down. Can't wait for 44 with thunderclap and my pets will hold proper aoe agro!

BM specc I pressume? Once you ding 60, go grab a Corehound for bloodlust, and go Un'Goro Crater for Silithid for stamina buff, once you ding 82, go Deepholm and get a Shale Spider for kings buff. Would also replace that wolf for a Devilsaur, gives healing debuff and critt buff keep the turtle tank

For 4 hunter PVP madness (fifth is a pocket healer) I'm brainstorming and coming up with the idea that a split spec group might be a better idea? One hunter in each spec would give the big tree buffs (damage, attack power, attack speed), allow you to pick up one core hound for hunter bloodlust, gives access to a daze (MM), silence (MM), Wyvern Sting (Survival), etc. I guess I'm just wondering if the hunter specs really change the classes THAT much and would be more of a help or hindrance.
I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Top-tier 5-mans (even on normal) will be an eye-opening experience.

Yeah. I'm estimating that you'll need the holy trinity (tank, healer, 3x dps) for any team that isn't a mage team :P Warlock pets couldn't survive long enough to tank. Maybe hunter turtles could stay alive if you have pets on your Grid and keep them spam healed?

The only other option is multiple tanks but it is too slow to kill single targets in my opinion. Someone mentioned using all Blood DK's and another person was using 5 bear druids.

I'm not so sure about this to be honest.

I've cleared plenty with 4 blood DK's + a paladin, and now that you can get redic s10 PvP gear for your hunters, your pets can literally tank raid content. It's been done already.

Running 4 pets who are going to ping pong agro, constantly heal and get healed by a healer, my guess is you will walk through normal dungeons and most heroics.
