    Hard Drive
    500GB - 7200RPM - 3GB/s
    Hard Drive 2
    128GB - SSD - 6GB/s

    QUE?! QUE!?

All that money and you've only got ONE 500GB 7200 rpm drive in there? DUDE, there are 2TB+ drives out right meow! Also, moar SSDs.

At least you have a single 1tb in your second build.

You do know that sandy bridge motherboards have been recalled due to a chipset issue (that granted effects a small number of people over time, but still, recall is recall)

Word on the street is that system builders are still allowed to sell these boards as long as they provide an expansion card to
    replace the existing 3Gbps ports.

if you read the other posts in this thread you would have seen me asking about 2 SSDs in raid 0. Also I dont care about storage, my current computer doesnt have more than 150 GB stored on it. I'm not a DVD copier or, other than WoW, game player.

I'm really not a big fan of RAID 0 on SSDs - you lose TRIM which is crucial to ensuring that the drive array maintains its performance through the life of the system.

If you wait about two weeks there's some wicked fast drives coming out that will be as fast as the current gen in RAID 0. Sorry, I can't mention names.

Sorry about the copy pasta, I'm on my phone browser.
OK, finally got some free time to sit down and check this config out.

So currently you're configuring one of our B2 stepping Sandy Bridge configurations - we are allowed to sell these by Intel because we offer a discrete HDD controller. We can ship these within 10 days. In about 5 days I'm going to be switching this configuration back to the Intel DP67BG Extreme motherboard as I have a clear timeline on when I'm going to get the new B3 stepping boards in. And quite frankly, it's my favorite P67 board. It also includes 802.11n wireless and is a few bucks cheaper.

So if your money isn't burning a hole in your pocket, you might want to wait - in addition to that new SSD we'll be offering.

Other than that, looks real solid. Don't expect to run more than one GPU off that 660W Seasonic however. It's a wonder PSU that performs as well as many 750W PSUs of lower caliber, but if I were to ever go to dual 580's I'd want an 850.

Ah woops I didnt have the right config shown there, I realized that the PSU was too low in output. I'll think I will wait to see what the new drives are then! Thanks Chris.

I wonder if Chris is referring to the OCZ Vertex3 or some other SSD with the new Sandforce 2500 controller. =)

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it"
