Give that man a GOLD STAR!

I cannot believe it was something as simple as turning on the addon. I'd been running clean because of the new patch, making sure everything was turned off so I wouldn't encounter any bizarre errors while addon Dev's figure out their kinks.

You, sir, are my hero, and your pie will be in the mail.

I can't WAIT to get started now!

I did the very same thing... sort of. I actually was playing the game with 4 slaves with the repeater running al lthe time. It was quite difficult. I made multi macros, and changed the keybindings in ISBoxer, and changed the key bindings in game. (granted there still is some of that required anyway).

5 accounts, trying to move as one. 5 accounts casting, 5 accounts looting as one, 5 accounts quest gather/turn in, 5 mouse clicks, 5 camera angles trying to work as one.... ill stop there.

"Turn off the repeater" says Lax.

    -_-

    Dont work. thanks for nothing...

"Logout, and enable ISBoxer" says Lax.

    -_-

    Have a good day.

    Stephanierose,
So, I considered making a new thread for this subject, however, I felt its close enough to the original topic.

I thought I would do a "from a beginers view", as we start through this.

    (I went with ISBoxer)

Instructions from DB and IS-Boxer seem to be dead on thus far.
    Downloaded ISBoxer Trial
    Downloaded Jamba

READ THE QUICK START GUIDE SLOWLY, AND COMPLETELY!!!

    srsly....

READ THE QUICK START GUIDE! (I had to re-read it about 4 times, then realized its got about 99% of what you need already covered)

Open WoW, and create the toons.
(NOTE!: I found this out the hard way. If you have more than one copy of WoW located on your HD, or running multiple HDs, OR you are running with multiple computers, or a compination of computers and software, you MUST log into each toon after you create them, with the original WoW program thats located in your c:\Program files\World of warcraft\wow.exe..... IF you do not do this, the ISboxer software start up wizard wont be able to easily locate your extra toons)
Open IS-boxer, and start the setup wizard. Its very self explanitory.
    export the new team.
(be sure wow is not running or open)
Launch the team from the ISBoxer or from the icon in the system tray bar for windows.
(NOTE!: If you have an authenticator, logging in is anoying right now, cause you cant do all of them at the same time. You'll need to log in each one at a time.)
(NOTE!: at the character selection screen, click on "Addon" and double check that ISBoxer is enabled. I recomend for the first time, to disable all other addons, but this, so you get the feel for it)
Upper left corner, make sure the keymapper is on (Green arrows), and the repeater or broadcasting, is off (grey arrows)
Enter the game for each toon.
Simply clicking on one of the screens, will / should set autofollow to the one you are currently on. (nice function)
Press SHIFT+ALT+I (as in Igloo, not L as in Larry). All your toons will auto join a group / party.

Now, you can run, jump, kill, gain exp, all at the same time. From here you are going through the software to setup personalized settings, and going through other tutorials to set up keybinds for "Interact with Target"... you need this to be able to loot effectively, if you have quests where you are required to loot mobs for quest items.

    Looting:

There are many ways to do this.
    • FFA loot, and play one screen, loot all, complete quest, swap screens, repeat your process for that toon, and so on... till done.
    • masterloot, and choose to deliver loot... anoying and situational imo
    • assign keybindings , and set up ISBoxer using the instructions from the quick setup. (its long-ish, but thurough enough to get it done right)
    • set camera angles on all slaves to fixed position, set up mouse movements, and loot with "broadcasting on" (what a pain this is)
    Quest NPCs:
You can set this up within the settings in ISBoxer, and in Jamba. Just take about 30 mins and go through the 5+ pages of settings and you can get this set up once.

I am currently still raiding with several of my 80s in ICC, so my multiboxing time is a bit short right now. However:

    (4) hunters - Horde - Doomhammer, current level as of today is 7. I did those in about 30 mins of play. Its funny watching (4) level 4 hunters do arcane shot, as pets run in, attacking a level 7 mob, and it die either immediately, or within 1-2 seconds. Even more fun, is doing it right as a level 6 died.... as I dont even stop or loot, just tab target the next one and FIRE!

I totally forgot to mention I'm alliance. That is a massive failure on my part. But I'll roll horde with you! I'm running low on Doomhammer slots, what server are you on? Maybe I'll just come over to yours.

    -Steph

Oh, also, I thought maybe you could roll three and I'd run two and we'd group at the beginning, just so we could share new discoveries in commands and things like that. Let me know what you think!

OH NO!!!! ROFL. ok, well I was going to go to Gorefiend and make some toons there to hang out with Viod and Mogs. They got a multiboxer guild there. Horde.

I'll go make (3) of something... i dunno yet. I need to learn now to do (1) tank, (1) dps, and (1) healer. Perhaps ill make me some druids. If you think this is acceptable, ill post my toons names here later.
