I would say he and Ionar are the same toughness. Also the new boss in IC 5 man has a puddle AoE that does 9k per tick. Yes 9k.

Your tank should be at over 40k when you are geared enough for the new content... so for him it wont be a problem... if your pallys are engi just use rocket boots =P

My tank is never the problem in paladin groups, its your dps dying to AoEs that is the problem. Mine are at 23kish unbuffed and when collosus drops his nastiness they die pretty fast. I imagine that at 9k a tick they will die faster to Ick and Crick.

Since the PTR I have had some practice at Ick and can avoid most of his goo puddles before they can dmg me. If the server is laggy or im getting higher ping then do eat some of his dmg but its not too terrible. I back peddle alot while DPSing but this does require my dps to be standing ontop of my tank so they stay in sync.

Collosus drops the puddles more frequently but with a bubble or group LoH can brute force him down pretty quick. Just isnt as much room for moving around on this boss.

Killed him again and lost a pally again. It's in this video:

Still don't know how he does that much aoe to them. Oh well. Gundrak is definitely my least favorite instance overall, not just because of colossus.

finally tried heroic dtk again and completed it (my first heroic). Novos was really simple, only boss i sometimes wipe on is trollgore, sometimes he does his corpse explosion and it's an insta wipe, sometimes it barely does any damage... Hardest part for me in this instance is the beginning: if i have a pull with 2 soulmages and they cast their ground aoe at the same time, it's a wipe.

I dual specced 1 ret to holy, and i like the playstyle a lot more. Did CoS hc today, i wiped on my first try at malgannis (healer died). Second try i didn't get the healer in melee range and it went much better, allthough he still died with malgannis at 30%. I got him wih only my tank alive at 4k health

Something else: i still have a lot of quests to do (half of icecrown, half of stormpeaks, full zul'drak). Any specific questlines i should complete first for rep and dailies? (or even better gear???)

    here's my armory:

    Tank: Paladra
    Ret1: Paladre
    Ret2: Paladri
    Ret3: Paladro
    Healer: Paladru
