Multiclass team hit 80 and cleared H ToC within a day :D

Maxion, how did you like your group during 70-80? Did they do well in instances in run of the mill greens/blues?

While leveling up, they cleared all the northrend instances, usually while 2-4 lvls below the bosses.

curious why your priest is disc and not holy, any benefit that is worth losing CoH?

I find the bubbles make healing easier, and i just spam glyphed holy nova for aoe heals.

I agree on the bubbles. When I switched from disc to holy, my priest felt.....much different. Never liked holy that much...

ToC was the heroic daily today, so I decided to fraps paletress and the black knight to show you how I do it
Granted my gear has improved a bit in the last couple of days (including t8.5 helm from badges) but its still the same strategy

Hmm interesting, I alternate CoH with Holy Nova and Prayer to heal group. Not sure if its an advantage to rotate those spells. It's embarassing that you clear this consistently with 3300 gs guys and mine are 4500ish and still wipe to this event. LOL =/

can i be the first to say ... YOU SUCK!!! just kidding man, i'm really jealous ... my tank has got 37k, my priest (disc) has 2000sp, and my 3x arcane mages are in 200lvl-ish gear, and i can't beat NORMAL.

How they heck did you pull 2.8k dps on your mage 1 day after hitting 80? My mages burst to 2.7 and settle around 2.2 - and they've got almost 1700 sp ... I'm currently running up my druids so I can run exactly what you've got - prot pally, disc priest, ele shaman, balance druid and arcane mage.

Gratz maxion - just goes to show that good skill is way better than good gear. I'm fetching screenshots of your armory page on each of your toons to remind me this is do-able. I'm so motivated to get back in there now =)

Eh really ? Are you running paladin tank or DK tank? Are you stacking up ontop of each other in phase 3 buffing shadow protection and frost, using mark of the wild drums. My tank only had 27k when I first started clearing HToC, and my shamans were around 2k sp.

UPDATE: cleared ToC normal last night for the first time with my new mixed team - pally, priest, shaman, mage & druid. After continually wiping 2 months ago on the black knight with pally/priest/3xmage, I was able to take him down 2nd try, coming out of phase 2 with full health - thanks to Maxion's help. When phase 2 starts, I pop mirror-image, starfall, and hero (not necessary) and put all my guys on follow (hit the BK with my avenger's shield to get aggro) while spamming arcane explosion and holy nova. I walk around in a large circle while spamming this until all the adds are dead - easy sauce.

I decided to give heroic a go, and got spanked hard by the warrior,rogue,shaman combo ... eventually reset and got an easier combo warrior,mage,shaman. Could not beat the paletress though ...even with a tremor totem, the group gets feared fairly far away. Maxion says he'll be reposting an HD version of that fight so I can see what's going on a bit better .. my tank has almost 39k hp buffed - i *should* be able to do this ....
