Jamba 0.5a has been released. See first post. Enjoy :-D.
For some reason the add-on doesn't load or display on my AddOn list after upgrading - not sure if it's just me :-)
So, got jamba 0.5 at last since it was released proper today.
And my question is this:
How do I make it let me move the team window and item bar?
They are stuck in the middle of the screen, and no form of.. ok scratch that, had to hold alt while clicking.
Am I missing something? I used to be able to click on a place on ver .4's bar for my group and selec that person. I can't seem to find a way to do that with .5.
Also, can I put anything I want in the item bar, so my alts will use it, or does it have to be a quest item. If I can put stuff in there, how?
I dropped the click on the bar to select a person in favour of putting a macro there instead, but I never got the macro gui input stuff into the UI.
You can put items (not actions) into the item bar. Drag them from your bag into a slot on the bar. Quest items, potions, hearth stones, equipable weapons should all work. To use, make sure that you have bound keys to all item slots on all your characters and that those keys are broadcasted to the each toon. Press a key associated with the item slot position and your toons should all use that item.
Grats on 0.5! But seems like you site is swamped (timesout before I can reach it)
Any chance to use http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/jamba/ and/or push your updates to curse ? (would help your bandwidth)
Thanks
One question about the new jamba though, whenever I hit my accept all macro, I get spammed with an accepted quest message from each character times 4. Gets kinda annoying when i'm trading stuff around
I get a LUA error when trying to complete a quest. The following are selected:
Enable Auto Quest Completion
Quest Has No Rewards Or One Reward: Toon Complete Quest With Team
Quest Has More Than One Reward: Toon Complete Quest With Team - Toon Choose Same Reward As Team
Override: If Toon Already Has Reward Selected. Choose That Reward
It might be a QuestHelper issue, will try and copy the LUA error.
so ive tryed ti reinstall Jamba..... Deleted the old jamba folder dowloaded fresh 0.5a and installed it...
But the thing is shouldent there me more options than these ones ?

Seems Quest Completion does not work in jamba 0.5 anymore.. No matter if i select "Select Reward automatically" or the way by using a key press, it wont complete.
I'm new to boxing and Jamba. I had just started to use the previous version over the weekend, the 3.3 hits and new Jamba released. So I install it. Some quick things I don't quite understand. I can no longer move the jamba-team window around by dragging it. It's stuck in the center of the screen. There's an item interface with 5 slots in it which not only do I not know what it does, but can't seem to move it either. I've turned off the displays for both of these interfaces for now. Am I missing something on how to use these now?
Thanks for writing Jamba! I hope to get better using it soon.
Hold down ALT and left click to move windows.
On one of your toons, you can drag items (not actions/spells) from your bags to the bars and every one in your team will try and put the same item in their bar as well. You need to go into keybindings and assign a key to each item on the bar on all your toons. Make sure these keys are broadcast to all your toons. Pressing the appropriate key will make every one use the item you placed in the bar.
Thanks Jafula
What kind of help do you need ? setting a repository there is pretty straightforward - then you got to webui and tag the repository, if the message starts with for instance
"1.1.8
blah blah blah"
it will make the 1.1.8 release available on curse (I use that for my WhoTracker for instance) and svn commit directly to them - if you want to keep locally your source control system (which may be wise) you can still probably push files to auto build and auto release
Is there a chance we could put macros in the item bar? And can we click on items in item bar in addition to keybinds? I would put the lance for the tournament in a slot, but I don't need to use it quickly or very often. It wastes a keybind just to use something that I don't need to use fast. Same with a macro (/script LeaveParty()) when WG is over. I don't need to do it quickly. I don't need to do it in middle of battle. I just would like to use items/macros on alts through clicking on an item on my main.
Not something I want to do. I just want it to be an item bar.
Addons cannot cast spells / use items for you. Hence the keyboard (hardware input) to use the items. To do this you need to use software like HKN, ISBoxer to broadcast mouse clicks.
Hence, you can drag the lance onto the item bar when you want to use it and drag it out when you are finished. With the item bar, you only need to do this on one character and the rest will follow.

I think this is the more relevant message. It initially comes up with 6 messages and if you try to go back to message no 1 then you get more errors in the Blizzard Debug addon.
Ash is the master.
Æsh is this character.

thinus,
FWIW: I have completed quests across characters (with 3.3) without errors.
It seems that the quest name is not being sent with the quest selection command for some reason.
Can you tell me what other quest mods you are running?
I'm getting the quest completion error too, when trying to select reward. Not using questhelper or other quest add-ons, I'll post the complete error message the next time I get it :)

I'm at work, but I also get errors when attempting to complete quesets. This is both for reward and non-reward choosing quests.
I don't have the error messages, as I'm at work. And I haven't downloaded any newer version of Jamba that may have come out after the release, if that makes a difference.
Only options I have selected are to complete quests when another party member complete a quest, as well as selecting the same reward (Unless chosen separately by the slave itself).
I'll post errors tonight, if I can remember.
only one wuick question
how do i move the team & item bars?
Either Ctrl or Alt and then left click drag with the mouse.
Thanks a lot for all your work Jafula, you really set the bar with this addon and those amazing new features!
Re: Quest errors. I've just reproduced the error when handing in a quest with a reward (my bad), its the same as what a few of you have posted above. I will try and get a fix out today.
Jamba 0.5b released. I've fixed the quest reward lua error. Everything seems to be working now with the quests. There was a problem with the auto select and auto complete which I have fixed as well.
Jamba Proc no longer sends messages, but shows timer bars. Its a work in progress. Currently there is a bug with an Blizzards Combat Log api function where they are not returning proc information. MSBT is affected amongst other addons, and Mik has posted on the official forums with a bug report, so its wait and see if Blizzard fix the problem. FWIW, Paladins Art of War works really well.
