Thread: World PVP

    Default World PVP

    Where do you do it?

Currently I setup in the UB, SP and SSV area. It is in my opinion the best place to kill people as they are coming in from the water, need air and can't move fast.

Get some water walking on your guys, stand on the water drop a slow totem at the entrance and then pew pew.

the best part is that there is NEVER one person coming up and they have to swim back to their body which you pew pew again and again and again. I got over 200 honor in an hour of non stop laughter.

Another fun spot is sitting at the meeting stone by Mech. There is a rock that has a point on it. The only way to get on it is to fly and drop on it however if you have all your guys on it then it looks like one person and man people are suckers.

Then there is the venus fly trap move.

Go to the enemies area. Setup the star pattern chain heals... noobs by the masses come up to check it out and then die! I try to get them all to die in the same spot so I can blast the star and have all the dead bodies in the middle!
The last thing the enemy will see is my Muzzle Flash of Freedom!

Isn't there a breathing spot in that tube entrance thing?

I recall an SSC raid by the meeting stone when I was trying to do UB on my lowbie priest. I ended up shadowmelding in the tube in the area where I can breathe.

Tip: Hide behind the stone where the can't see you and when they are close enough pewpe them through the stone.

Another great place is the summon stone in Netherstorm. The ogre ruins/Ring of blood in Nagrand. Skettis is decent. Xroads is good fun. You kill lowbies and they bring in 5 70's and then you kill them too :P Hellfire summon stone is ok some of the time, mostly lower levels but the occasional group of 70's swings by. IQD is prolly the best place ever for world PvP

I usually don't just randomly gank 1 player -- even at my level -- with my five. I wouldn't consider that world PVP. Now, camping a meeting stone and taking out groups is a-ok. If I wanted things to be that easy I might as well play poker against my 2 year old nephew.

What about those towers in Hellfire. At least you'll get a mark for ganking someone at a tower.

I'm hoping I'll be able to transfer my priest back to PvP from PvP after WotLK comes out and everybody on PVE servers is rolling level 55 DKs on PvP servers, but if not, I'll probably end up with a priest anyway from my PvE group. -- I want to just go to like, somewhere like halaa, pvp with buildings, and stand the priest out there... and leave the other 4 in a building and wait for the Priest killing jerk... (you can tell I'm sick of being ganked as a holy priest/pally on PvP servers lol)
