    Default Help with Maximizer.

    Hey all,

I am running two monitors off my PC, ones a 22" Widescreen which is good for 1680x1050, the other is a 17" monitor for 1280x1024.

I am wondering if it is possible to get maximizer to open one wow at 1680x1050 on one screen and to get the other wow to open at 1280x1024. I can get them both to open at 800x600 on either screen, but once in game, I need to set the proper resolution, and it obviously resets after each logout.

    Thanks for the help,

    Kareem

I have no experience using two monitors, but it sounds like you aren't setting the resolution for your wow instances in Maximizer?
There's a list where you can choose pre-set resolutions or type in your own, the default is 800x600.

    G'afternoon Kareem,

yes, you can do that. make sure your wows are not running... go to keyclone/ setup/ maximizer editor, click the region.. set the resolution in the bottom center.. repeat for each region. hit ok, then start your wows.

btw, you could send me a PM instead of hoping i'll find the thread.. it'd be much quicker

    good luck,

    Rob

There are two problems I am having:

    1) I choose 1 resolution for Monitor 1, and it sets itself to Monitor 2 aswell, I can't have two different resolutions for some reason.
    2) There is no 1680x1050 resolution.

As for you second problem; you can just type in whatever resolution you want, you don't have to use the pre-set ones.

    Oh....this helps.

    Thanks

EDIT: This actually fixes both problems, thanks

Before, I wasn't clicking the region then setting the resolution, so every time I would click ok, it would just stay at 800x600. This time, I clicked the region and changed the resolution. Now it works perfectly. yay

the resolutions are on a per region basis. left click the region, set the resolution.
and as chazz said, if you don't see the resolution you want, you can just type it.. <width>x<height> ie: 600x800

the dimensions of the region are a different story... and don't effect the resolution wow uses
