    Default Melee & Ranged dual-boxing

Well I have a few 70s, what I want to do is the same server I'm 2boxing my mages on I have a warrior and a druid on the 2 accounts and I want to be able to 2box those somehow... Only problem would be.. first off how would I possibly make my druid (boomkin) stay back and cast while my warriors in there meleeing.. If I had the druid following my war he'd get inside the melee dps from others and that wouldn't be good. I want to pvp with it and such just don't really know how I would do the controlling or keybinding for them.. seems like a difficult task.

If anyone has some suggestions or uses a melee char with range dps feel free to help out

I've been running an Enhancement Shaman/Arms Warrior pair, double melee, so a little bit different, but my first thought for your pairing would be to run the boomkin as your main and to control the warrior as your alt.

Run the pair into range, charge the warrior to the target and nuke from where your standing.

This would also have you controlling the healing character if things don't go as planned. For me it's easier to keep the DPS/Tank going with macros and focus my real attention on healing than it is the other way around.

I've been playing around with a rogue and hunter recently and I've found that putting the hunter as my alt and binding S as my follow key (on the alt) works well.

This lets me run up, stealth, press DOWN to stop the hunter, press my Hunter's Mark + Pet attack macro, and start moving toward the mob. By the time I get there the pet just arrived so the mob's ripe for an ambush. When the fights over, tap S and the Hunter gets back inline (twoboxtoolkit with stickyfollowing helps too).

The same should work with a warrior boomkin. Just stop the boomkin, charge in and do your thing. I vote playing the warrior so when they start running you can keep with them because the Ranged class will just keep rocking along.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions.. just wondering if it would be a good possibility to do resto druid and warrior for 2v2 arena?
Anyone try it? I'm sure it's possible just wondering if it's worth it and if I could do well enough with it. Only thing I'm thinking would stop me from doing it is for all the heals.. I'd have to have basically two binds for every heal to either heal himself or my warrior or there might be an easier way, not sure lol

So anyone know how successful if possible that could go?

Basically comes down to how good you are personally at contorlling them; a Druid's lifeline in arenas is mobility; unfortunately, so is a warrior's. You're gonna either have one be a sitting, and probably dead, duck, or sacrifice safety/protection options to keep 'em both moving

Anything is *possible*. I wouldn't imagine that you would get great results, however. You'd basically be playing a Warrior with a healbot. You could probably set up some interesting cyclone+heal macros, but I think you'd get reamed by normal teams with 2 different players controlling the action.

Generally speaking, it is easier for most folks to control the melee character and use the ranged characters as alts. There's no need to even break /follow, in my opinion. Just nuke from right behind your warrior. Druids are nice because you can HoT the warrior while you're both on the run.
