Account Closure / Suspension - GM Error?

Ok so here's the dealio...

I was playin last night and was trying out underbog, so i'm going along and doin my thing, and everything get ice blocked, and i'm like wtf, this is a wierd glitch...so i look at the chat window and i've been messaged on my alts by GMs, and i'm like oh crap...

So, there were two of them, Mimic and Prototype, and they start off by saying "are you going to stop ignoring us now?" So right there i knew this wasen't going to be good, so i apoligize and explain to them that my alt windows are a little smaller and i dont really pay much attention to them unless i need to move them or something...And they ask what i was doing and i said, running underbog...They then say, it looks like i'm botting, so i start the explination of multiboxing...

The whole experience was quite diffreent than any other i've ever had, they were very unprofessional, so Mimic was telling me that he knows botting when he sees it, and i explain it's all legal and i pointed them to this website to check it out so they would know about things in the future...So they then say this type of play is not allowed and i was like, yes it is and i tell them about the wiki and all the GM conversations we have documented...Prototype was pretty cool, he seemed kinda interested, but Mimic was not going for it...So Mimic says to me i am going to get a 3 day ban while they investigate, and i started getting pissed then, and i may have said a few things i didn't need too...Like "research something before you assume it's illegal and you know what happens when you assume?"

So anyways the conversation goes on and i took off the pause button for keyclone and my alts start jumping while i'm typing, and then Mimic says, if they jump one more time i'll make it a 30 day ban, and i started typing "they jump when i hit the space bar when typing" and he's like, that's it 30 day ban...then i say "SOLO IS THE NEW GIMP!" and then BOOM! i'm logged out, i didn't even take any screenshots or anything...(ya i really said that shit lol)

So i went to bed, pissed as ever, i'm thinking this is it, i'm done playing wow...But i couldn't leave it alone, i know a GM from a while back, well we have talked in the past about wow and stuff, he is really cool, so i email him and ask if this is legit...

I got a email this morning saying that multiboxing was allowed and they apoligize for any inconvience and these two GMs will be taught about multiboxing so this dosen't happen in the future...

So all in all i got banned, then talked to a bud, unbanned and a apoligy... Just a wierd experience all together...

Oh and i didn't know banning happened that fast, it's like one second you are talkin to them and then the next you can't log in...But it turned out ok in the end. Just wanted to share.

nah, not in okinawa, i'm in the states, but i do need to get some chat relay system, i'm gonna download it as soon as i get home, might have saved me a headache.

That GM needs a suspension. Sometimes they forget they are working as customer services as well as their other roles.

I'd like to know what they were doing stalking you in the first place...especially 2 different GMs, following you into an instance no less...and jesus christ Mimic should be fired for that shit, you don't ban people for fucking jumping or else the entire night elf population and half the blood elf population would be banned permanently lol(myself included rofl)

At the same time I'm kinda jealous...I've never been reported that I know of and never dealt with a GM =( Though I swear to go sometimes one's following me sometimes, cuz shit just keeps happening to spawn behind me(always zone-appropriate though not always in place, always behind me), or path in ways they do NOT normally path and "happen" to run into me when I fucking know they don't go that way >.> /equip [Tin-Foil Hat] lol

That's a pretty bad deal man. Glad everything got worked out. I hate it when the misinformed are endowed with power and refuse to even accept the possibility that they might be incorrect about something.

Lol who the hell wouldn't have space as jump? It's default and standard in just about if not every single PC game there is to boot. It's big and easy to hit, hard to miss, which is good since jumping is helpful in most of said games. Hit your GM friend for me ;p lol
