First: Thanks for sharing your setup!
I have furthermore some question:
1)you work with one „screech“ pet or also other for different buffs/ability’s ?
2)which macros are you actually using?
3)what about your experience with pet happiness any problems ?
4) you are driving with only „main“ hunter and all abilities are copied or do you also work with round robin?
- Atm im running 5 Owls with Screech yeah, i am looking into maybe running a few others pets like a wolf for "furious howl". Also considering a turtle to just tank some of these higher up bosses (not sure if will be able to keep threat tho) and might throw in a cat for some dps boost. But i have cleared BRD with 5 owls and not been an issue as of yet. Might just consider carrion birds instead for they're higher base armor
- Simple marco's such as Petattack/petfollow/petstay & a feed pet macro & feign death trap macros
- No just use this macro (/cast Feed Pet /cast [pet] 0 1) Will feed your pet from first slot in ur bag
- I do run round robin for a few spells such as "intimidation" "Concussive shot" & "Scatter shot"

I will add from testing that if you go with a Priest, Power word: shield wont work on Hunter pets for me, but it did for Voidwalkers (weird)
Greetings,
Old school Vanilla Multiboxer here.
Up until 50 you can get away with almost anything, provided you have a way to heal and have some form of tank like a pet. Example my first group was 1 priest and 4 warlocks with pets. But post 50 once you enter BRD that's where your going to start to feel it. At this point a tank is needed. Even speccing in to Demo my lock tanking pets were no match, nor could I manage the control and placement that was needed to separate my group from the ads as pets don't always do what you want. Doesn't take two many cleave attacks from trash to mow down a cloth group.
On my next play through BC came out and I did 1 Pally, 4 Shamans. That was very strong compared. Also with the tank I could pull a group exactly where I wanted them and had more control. Night and day really. Had everything to do with having a tank in the group.
I also ran 5 Shamans. This didn't do so hot in PVE. One of my accounts already had a capped Shaman so I'd just switch out the pally with the shaman. This was mainly for PVP purposes, however in PVE, it couldn't compare to having the pally tank, it was painful running 5 shaman. After putting in so much time leveling two groups to cap, I can tell you I would never, ever run another group again without a tank.
I've been toying with the idea of returning in the future to boxing. If I do, I'd most likely use a Pally for a tank. I don't play to raid and those pally buffs go a long way over battle shout for cloth.

Due to Blizzards position on Hong Kong, money > freedom. I stopped playing.
Hope I will be ok with Druid tank, Priest heals and x3 Mages..
In PVE, you should be all set. While Warrior is "king" of tanking in classic, the reason for this is shield block for crushing blows. If were just doing 5 mans we have nothing to worry about. In truth, using a Druid tank has more value with your setup due to Buffs Druids bring the table in trade for a warrior shout buff for melee damage. I'd be totally content with your class selection![]()

Any Tank and any Healer should work.
For Dungeons I think Paladins are the best Tanks as they have unlimited target AoE Threat AND can reduce the threat of the rest of the party -30% via Blessing of Salvation and save a party member via Blessing of Protection. That being said both Warriors & Druids can also work fine as Tanks with their own pros/cons.
Priest is likely the best overall Healer though others can work as well.

Being macroed out the ying-yang makes hunters really easy and fun to box and very, very strong. With my 5x paladin team, they were not particularly effective - they could take 3-5 mobs (slowly, with pauses for healing) and be OOM halfway through, whereas with my 5x hunter team they're just tearing through stuff. Granted, still low levels, but now that I have my pets it's pretty ridiculous how effective I am.
