My barn is still making gold, thats it. They even made the trade goods in the Trading post 4x what they were before, outrageous.
run the barn on all chars, feed cloth to tailors with tailoring building and stockpile bags.

save them for the post expac craze once people realize the 30 slot bags are the biggest bags in the game unless you want to buy the 500k gold bags.

Im doing this as well. i have two full guild bank tabs full of bags. And im guessing the fur will still sell well ( maybe better than now ) because most players ( even a lot of tailors ) will not want to spend any time in old content.. they will just buy the fur from AH

Its not much use from a gold-making perspective to collect followers, do Garrison missions or Shipyard missions anymore. As others have noted the profession buildings will still make you gold if you craft items to sell in AH, and should continue to make you gold into Legion until the prices on the new items stabilize.

I am posting full of anger right now so you'll have to take what I say with a grain of salt. IMO I think doing barns, making bags (I haven't been), and collecting the pets/mounts/toys posted here will earn you the most gold before Legion.

These changes to the garrison were announced months ago.

And more, if they didn't make the changes--such that it was efficient to stay in stupid WOD content for another two years... ew.

I don't hate the garrison changes exclusively, but overall I am having no fun right now. The garrisons are where I made my gold, dungeons were my fun.

I'll just play Rift until Legion is released, might need a break from WoW.

My internets were broken for several hours just yesterday, thanks to my ISP and their cable fault.. on a patch day!
I managed to test different groups for maximizing loot from outworld mobs, for example for cloth grinding and so on.

Due to current tap changes, each mob can be tapped five times, but you will get more "taps" with this method.
You can farm normal mobs with 9 toons; 4 toons in party A and 5 toons in party B. Make sure your party A tags the mob first, and then make sure that party B hits the mob before they die. You will get 9x loot this way. Party A will 'consume' 4 taps, and party B will have one tap left, but since they are grouped, the game adds 4 more taps for party B so every in it will get the loot.

If you tap a mob with 5man party, then all taps will be consumed, and any other player will not get the loots nor the credit for the kill, unless it's rare mob which still have the different tapping system.

I'm glad that Garrisons are nerfed to shit. I did nothing in WoD except Garrisons. I milked them pretty well though; have been purchasing WoW Tokens so much that my 10 accounts are active until January 2018 :P

They also replaced many of the mission rewards with just garrison resources. So you will generate more resources than usual as well.
Thankfully I still have a Hexweave Bag crafting Army 800-1k a pop on my server all day

yeah, i agree... i spent the whole expac doing garrisons, loging in and collecting the rewards after the patch and getting 0 gold and no items felt so liberating. i've been leveling a warrior team (!) and playing my main team only... haven't been so relaxed in months. even dropped the ring quest on all alt teams. (main has it already)

i'm glad the garrisons are dead, i've seen a ton of people doing some old school farming!

So with each toon being able to loot their own trash, how do each of you manage IWT?

I find that more often then not, 2-3 of my team dont close the loot windows and I am stuck with running around to close the window and approaching the body again to ry again.
