Now playing: WoW (Garona)
I loot, back up my slaves (down arrow key), loot again until I see 5 looted messages. Slave yoyo.
There's a macro you can send before IWT so you wont have to do the extra step, just spam the key.
/run LootSlot(1)
/run LootSlot(2)
/run LootSlot(3)
/run LootSlot(4)
/run LootSlot(5)
/run LootSlot(6)
/run LootSlot(7)
/run LootSlot(8)
/run LootSlot(9)
/click StaticPopup1Button1
I have lootarang round robin'd in my dps rotation on my ranged characters. I pretty much never have to stop to loot. Melee is different for me though, since I let them swarm. Still lootarang is the way to go![]()

Having felt spoiled by how 'vacuuming' loot worked in WildStar, I've been using Loot-A-Rangs as soon as they became available in WoD. These days I'm using an ISBoxer mapped key with two steps, triggering two different macros.
First macro:
Second macro:Code:/run CloseLoot() /use Findle's Loot-A-Rang /use Loot-A-Rang
The first macro also triggers Findle's Loot-A-Rang because some of my characters are engineers and still have this older (engineering-only) item, so I simply trigger both as they'll always have either one or the other.Code:/run LootSlot(1) /run LootSlot(2) /run LootSlot(3) /run LootSlot(4) /run LootSlot(5) /run LootSlot(6) /run LootSlot(7) /run LootSlot(8) /run LootSlot(9) /click StaticPopup1Button1
As for the mapped key, the first step triggers the first macro, and the second step triggers the second macro (shocking, I know!) - however, the second step is set not to advance to the next step for 3 seconds (which is the cooldown of the Loot-A-Rang).
The result is that whenever the Loot-A-Rang is on cooldown, characters will attempt to clear out any open loot windows. This seems to work well for me, at least.
Nifty setup, Bear. Think I will go ahead and snatch that. Although being a spaz I will probably leave the 3 second non-advancement rule out, as I would just end up pressing it while the toons are still moving and have to wait to retry.
