The problem I have on defense is that the flag runner can be in and out way too quickly. Also, on the first wave, it's typically 4 (me) versus 6-10 alliance. I can't both kill them all and prevent the flag from being taken. The best I can hope for is to kill a fair number of them, die, respawn, and mount up fast enough to pop the runner before he makes it back to their tunnel/base.
If I go early offense support, then I can 4xLHW a flag runner, nuke off any attackers, and potentially be ready to go for the big bursty kill on THEIR flag runner. That seems to work OK for now, but I still feel like a WSG liability and not an asset.
