This is now the second Timewalking weekend.

I tried Old Kingdom, and managed to down 2/5 bosses. The trash was difficult but not bad as long as I used interrupts and correct kill order.

Currently level 86, I decided to not even try the others. Unimpressed with the loot, dropping things lower iLevel then regular random dungeon rewards. And while its nice to have a challenge once in awhile, the poor exp and long fights start making leveling tiresome.

    Here are the current dungeons:
    Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom
    Gundrak
    Halls of Lightning
    The Nexus
    Utgarde Pinnacle

av cleared all the wotlk time walkers on my group. they was only level 100 a few days so a lot of greens/looms still.

i wiped a few times on a few bosses before i remembered what to do form the old wotlk days but to be fair i have to say i had a lot fun in till i handed in the quests. and you can not que a group.

    Am running frost mage/ele sham/prot pally/disc priest/bm hunter

    Here are the current dungeons:
Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom - did not even wipe here once very easy.

Gundrak - wiped on the 1st boss but if u pull it to the ramp at the start the ads don't lock down the healer. middle boss is a bit of a pain lots of moving! the others seemed ok.

Halls of Lightning - i would say this is the hardest,
-1st boss if you do it in the right place where he does not get the 30% buff on him and ads. its a easy fight.
-2nd boss keep the ads from the clones its a pain but can be done. at around 25% he blows them up and it one shot the group.
-3rd boss the lighting boss you can not group up. kinda put the group at the back when the boss turns into lighting run into the last room, and reset the team up. boss will not make it to you before he goes back and he run to you.
-4th boss i always lose a few chars on this boss, you need to stay close to the boss to not take to much dmg but when he casts the aoe you need to move back and back closer i find around halfway i can heal it.

The Nexus - the extra boss fears so be careful where u tank it before u get to many ads on you. other bossess was simple last boss is a bit of pain jump jump jump

Utgarde Pinnacle - trash is prob the hardest here if you get the hunter mark on you then your dead cleanse it fast!! . and the fear on the trash can make wipes easy. bosses are ok fights.

if i get back into them before the weekend is over ill try do a video.

Did ding 100 on my first team on Friday and yesterday did all the timewalking. It seems it does not matter if you are geared or not as it downscales your equipment to item level 160. At least I didn't notice any diffrence going there with item level 580ish gear or 620ish in Draenor.

I had vastly diffrent experience than Ebony. Playing 4Dk+Holy (my first and so far only team). The Old Kingdom, Halls of Lightning (the first boss even with the 30% buff for the achievement) and Nexus were easy enough to do. But third boss in Utgarde pinnacle - Skadi and third boss in Gundrak - the Drakkari Colossus/Elemental gave my melee team real headaches. Buff after about 10-15 tries on each I figured what I was doing wrong and they went down.

The item level 690-700 epics for the weekendly (?) were worth it.

Question, am I able to just CHOOSE time walker option from the dungeon options heroic/normal? So I can physically zone in with my hunter packs? Or is this only available thru LFD?

its olny LFD so you need a what blizzard calls a real group tank/healer/3dps

Just so you know I tried one with my x3 Hunter Shadow Priest and Monk healer a few days ago.. and the instance spat out my hunter pets faster than I could heal/rez them!

I found this weird because pets are meant to take 90% reduced aoe dmg.. but they went down like flies! In all other areas hunter pets tank like a boss.. I'm not sure if this is intended or a bug.
