    Default Sound on or off?

    I currently running a 2 man party using ISBoxer. Loving it so far, there is a lot to learn!!! What do you guys usually do for sound using ISBoxer? I have sound set to default, and i hear "echos" like when i have them both talk to or interact with NPC. Another example, say i do /lol on my toon i hear the laugh in both windows. But if im playing and switch windows, if i turn off sound on the slave, then switch to his window ill have no sound in that window....hmmm what to do LOL

    Hmm... So if you disable sounds while in a slave window, it disables sound on all windows? Shouldn't happen really I don't think... Perhaps it's Jamba trying to enable/disable sounds automatically when you switch windows?

    Personally I find the sounds from non-focused windows annoying, so I have them off by default.

    There's an option in your Character Set which you can enabled called something like "Mute background game windows" which will do what you want.
    Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.

    I leave "sound in background" option enabled so I can hear if one guy falls off a cliff or gets attacked by something after breaking follow, etc. Then I turn my 4 followers sound option for "Dialog volume" down to one tick above zero and leave the main at max so I can hear the voiceovers without the "echo" thing.Unfortunately, there's no option for "Cinematic volume."

    I hate combat noises so I mostly do without sound (I've heard you can go through and manually replace every grunt and slash with silence but it didn't work right for me and I got frustrated and gave up). I sometimes play with music and do wish I had sound on when a big cinematic hits but mostly I live without it.

    This is a snippet of the method I use, something like this in a buff macro basically.

    !if (character is "slot 1") /console Sound_EnableAllSound 1
    !else /console Sound_EnableAllSound 0
    !also /script SetView(4); SetView(4);
