Loot distribution

Hey, i was wondering how you quickly see if a drop is an upgrade for your clones? And how do you easily equip that item on that clone (from the master if possible)?
The way i handle this now is cycle through all my clones and see if an item is an upgrade, but my guess is that this should be easier somehow. I only have 5 chars, but i can image for people who multibox 10+ chars, this must be a huge pain.

I use a spreadsheet that has all of the ilevels per slot, updated by running a perl script about once a day. I generally check that spreadsheet for the slot (not that most leveling gear is any good to me, with full heirlooms I vendor almost everything yet somehow can't get a full set of agility rings for my hunters to save their lives). I then give it to whoever has the biggest upgrade (or, if they are all the same as they often are from quest gear, the one that had the lowest dps on the most recent boss).

There WAS an addon that helped with this (it would put the ilevel of each toon for that slot into the item tooltip) but I haven't seen anyone mention it in years and it probably no longer exists.

As for equipping If you wanted to be fancy I suppose you could loot the item from the master, drag it into the jamba item box, trade the item to the slave and then trigger jamba item-use.

Blizzard blocked looking at over players ilvl though there API there broke a lot of addons.

Or though i added a workaround in jamba to show the ilvl off the chars on the display team (next the the player level) not really what your asking.

there is many addons out that gear your chars for you.

as for loot i use Personal loot as it gives the most gear and will only give you items you can use as i done need mail/leather in my group. (i need to add Personal loot to jamba group settings as well)

? it may have blocked doing full inspections but the hover ilevels addons work fine... or do they?

As far as I know, they still work just fine.
