New starter PVP gear in 2.4

Most of you have probably already seen this, but as an up-and-coming boxer interested in PVP, I'm pretty excited.

For those who don't know what I'm talking aobut, there is a "starter set" of PVP gear fear each class/spec in the 2.4 patch. The gear is buyable, and is very afforable (like 50-100g for the whole set). The only other requirement is "honored" rep with different outland factions, but as we all know, that is pretty trivial to get. In fact, you will usually hit it by the time your 70.

Not uber by an stretch, but at least I won't have to start my 70 pvp life with greens and crap.

81 resilience? Is this a joke?

The S3 Elemental Shaman set only has 137 resilience on it before gems and socket bonuses:

Oh yeah, this blue set also doesn't stack bonuses with the arena gear, so those starting out will have the dual +35 resilience bonuses for a while which will help as well until you get all 5 pieces of S1-3 Arena gear.

it's identical to the current blue pvp (high warlord's) set.

Which used to be the standard honor reward armor before they let you buy S1 gladiator's with honor.

A pretty good idea IMO. i will definitely buy the whole set.

Does anyone know if they will have to original HWL/GM looks? I dont like how now all the pvp gear looks like tier gear. I miss the days when you could spot an alliance paladin or warrior from across AV from their golden ealgles on the shoulders.

I know some people IRL that are quitting basically because of this coming out. They think that "It's bullshit there basically handing out pvp gear to ppl now, make them EARN it like WE had to!"

I for one am happy as hell they bringing this out!
