Patch is Live, so YaY or Nay ?

Im glad the patch is here at last, I really need heirlooms on my new team, thats lvl 60 and hasnt been touched since, about a week or so or little more when I got them too 60, as I been farming some JP and Honor too get them all heirlooms.. now with heirlooms battlenet bound I can spend, waste do whatever I desire with my main toons Valor, JP and alts, as well as my mages, to spread them all into heirlooms with ease, except for 1 account damn you Blzz, that is on its own battlenet which I had no choice but to create a new battlenet as blizz would not delete an account I requested to be deleted so I could make room for my new account that was raffed.

So that account cannot have the benefits like rest for battlenet heirlooms

ZG doesnt look very boxing friendly at all on some of the bosses, with all that moving needed.
ZA I havent watched yet.

Looking forward to some new mounts, daughter and I are at war and race to whom gets anew mount first,,,I think the head start can be me since I could just ban her off the pc :P ahahaha,

Really looking forward to weeklys, where you can do your 7 heroic dailys within one day if you wanted too and would count as your 7 dailys done for 7 days.

Not much great changes for my Hunter so not much on that.

Interested too see how well the arcane mages go.

Well you don't have to feed your pet anymore so that could be nice. Still not sure how I feel about it I was hunter fanatic in classic and despite how annoying it could be to keep happiness up I think i'll miss feeding my pets.

Arcane seems to be the mage PvE spec of choice which is to bad really I've always been a fan of fire spec.

Played my hunter for nearly 5 yrs maybe longer off and on, regret the off times when I switched to lock and mage etc

As for not feeding a pet, im all for it.

I'm stoked (yes that is the word), for always having Death Runes instead of Blood Runes.

Being able to take out the weakest ability (Blood Strike) in both of the priority spam sequences.
Giving either an extra Obliterate or a weighted-random two of Howling Blast/Necrotic Strike extra per 10 seconds.

It will also be easier to spam in 2's (everything manual), should that continue to prove an easier route to points than 5's.

All add-ons are broken. /yaaaaaay.......! Force load everything MSBT and SpellAlerter gets constant Lua Errors. Other's get one ocationally.

Regarding hunters, your toons don't have to eat. Why should your pets? Its like taking a crap. They don't have to do that either - its just assumed it happens. IMO if someone wants to complain about realism, removing ammo is worse than removing the need to feed pets.

What I wish they would have done instead of fooling with food and ammo is make ranged weapons usable at point blank range. Thats definitely not realistic (at least for guns and xbows).

DKs with combat res makes the losing of 1 member ALOT easier to cope with so i like it

I am also stoked with Death runes Ualaa. Much simpler and more effective rotations for the frosty DKs, not to mention the 20% buff to howling blast and frost strike.

Haven't PvPed or anything yet because Jamba is on the blink (gg at Jaf actually playing and getting Stand in the fire achi rather than working for us ffs :P) but on dummys I am getting improvements of 30-50% in dps.

Burst has gone from 10-12k average to 15k single target on the dummys for me just using combination of howling blast, oblit and frost strike. Sustained dps has gone from 9-10k to 12-13k on the lvl 85 dummy.

I know dummys are not great for testing PvP effectiveness, but we are basically getting double the number of ranged, instant howling blasts which I expect will make a MAJOR difference in PvP... can't wait to try it

Yay for playing. I hope that one day (probably 5 years time), my shamans will be able to exact their revenge on that dragon!
