The addon itself is modular so you can attempt to disable one module at a time until you're down to just the core itself...
perhaps you can pinpoint a certain module which is holding you up.

Bizarre. Jamba doesn't do any processing itself on the OnUpdate function which is usually the cause of bad fps. However, the libraries Jamba uses do, but they have never caused problems. Have tried deleting your cache, interface and wtf folders and starting over?

This is a good idea, although I would suggest renaming rather than deleting. =)

yes, the first thing i did when i started having the problems was rename those folders, which fixed my problem, but when i put Jamba back into my active addons folder i started having the problem again, but when i disable the addon from the wow log in screen, i have no problems. So clearly Jamba has to be causing the issue... Im wondering if maybe something in my computer is making Jamba not work out?

So does the problem persist even with a clean/empty WTF folder?
i.e. Jamba is the only addon and you've renamed the WTF folder BEFORE launching WoW. (this resets ALL settings though, live video, sound, etc)
    If so, I'm stumped.

Have you tried what Fenril suggested so we can at least try to narrow down what part of Jamba is causing the issues? Many of us are running Jamba across 5 or more accounts and don't see any issue remotely like this.
