    Default Jamba, targetting and me

    Hey boxers!

Sorry to bother you all but hopefully if youre reading this youre willing to have some patience and help a newby out ^^

    The Situation:

I'm running 3 Shaman's (Ele spec ofc) on one computer with 2 monitors, 2 slaves on my one and my master on my main monitor. I read the forums and have been trying to make the multibox process more streamline instead of struggling but im truely baffled and here's why. These are my problems and concerns which I coulnd't find a fix in other threads

    1. Slave Tagetting - If a mob runs through my shamans and I want them to just turn and face to cast into it they end up running to the target to mellee then casting since I use the "interact with target" to get them facing it but they always run... I read in another post that its possible to do a mouse step or something like this? Not sure on the terminology but basically a button where when you press it you can turn all slaves to mimic the master. I have NO idea how to set this up but this would be amazing for PVP and PVE
    2. Jamba addon isn't pushing settings to slaves when I configure them on the master. It also isn't showing a portair or displaying xp and health bars on my main properly. No idea why, admittedly I could possibly solve this by lurking about a bit more but thought I'd pop it in here
    3. If I want to expand and bring a tank into my little squad then how could i configure keyclone to register onto my laptop if its not connected to my pc in any way :S

Thanks for the time spend reading and hopefully replying, I appriciate it more than you know

P.S Only software I'm using is Keyclone / Jamba addon. Any other suggestions are welcome

I can try and help you with 2:

It seems like your toons are not communicating. Make sure you have the communications channel setup the same on all toons. Or make sure you have "Always assume all toons online" checked. These options can be found in /jamba -> Advanced -> Core: Communications.

    If that doesn't work ...

Some addons interfere with Jamba. One of these called something like "You are not in a party fix". I would disable addons until I found which one was interfering with Jamba.

Also, are you pushing the settings using the "Push Settings" button? :-)

With 1, pick one person in front to do more initial damage, so the mob is always in front of the main char, so your alts will be in back and can cast.

Or as you have seen, just use IWT and your alts will face and try to melee. It doesn't hurt any, you can just cast while they are meleeing.

Now if the mob keeps moving and you are keep having to make them face different ways, then add your tank to the group and park your alts. You can pass a movement key to your alts and they will break follow, then run up to the mobs on your tank and your alts should be standing back so they can cast.

For 3, can your laptop get to the web? If so, then look for its IP address (open DOS command window and type in /ipconfig). Then you can use that to setup your key broadcasting software so it knows who to talk to. To make sure the PC and the laptop can talk to each other, try pinging the laptop. From a DOS window type "ping" and the IP address from before. "Ping 192.168.0.2" You will have to put in your the laptops IP address.

Hope that helps and good luck.

Thank you guys for the replies, I think I'll just ask the tank at the start to make sure its in front of my casters every pull :P
Will try the Jamba settings you said and also report back!
You guys are the best <3
