    Default just starting to PVP

I have no resil. gear, and mostly just show up and die a lot. is there a way to get better quickly? I have played the older BGs on other toons so I know those BGs some. I just die quickly. WG is one example of noob time for me.

I'd suggest to wait for cata, only 1 month to go. By the time you got some decent gear cata is out. The stormhide set is a good start if you haven't geared yet. If you got some decent gear allready then there's nothing you can do really. Below 800 resilience you'll get stomped by any class with aoe. (so all classes? :P)

Yea, get the crafted PvP set, it's wearable at 78, and helps out a little...although wrathful geared enemies will still tear you a new one. If you're not boxing specifically to PvP, then like Littleburst said, just wait till Cata to try and get geared.

Hit up heroics and get the 5 piece armor sets. But with cata coming out you won't get a lot of use out of it....hitting any bg with no resi is gona kill ur confidence lol.

That was one of the things I wanted to know. Can I buy PVP gear? I know Still suck playing real people as my reflexes are poor.
Does it help the team to be a healer? I can use the resto druid in that case.

Just wait until Cataclysm. Spend some time farming cash so that you can buy or craft the starter PvP gear at L85.

Or... I'd stick to playing 25 man BGs where you won't be much of a liability and you can still get a little experience playing your team.
    Cranky old-timer.

You can take up to 4k honor into Cata if i'm correct. So getting that would probably be a good option. Same goes for Justice points.

Probably play in AV or IoC, and stick with the largest group of players.
If you've got a healing option, that can work.. although you might become the focus of the opposition.

The Honor/Justice point cap is a slight head start on Cataclysm.
Doesn't hurt to have that, going in.

In short, yes it does help. Healing is a really good way to farm honor without having a lot of resil (at least in my experience). While you will still die a lot, you can at least help your team by healing the crap out of them until you get 2 shotted.
Another tip: stick to groups and don't go out on your own. You will be easy prey. Stay on def and heal the other defenders (if there are any).

As the others have said, you might just wait for Cata, but it can't hurt getting some practical experience in now. Just don't get too frustrated if you are dying alot. It's going to happen.
