i like the idea, but here's my 2 cents about it:
    - first you need to define which abilities to go on those button bars, as they list can grow very quickly. To your example you can add a couple more shocks, Chain lightning, thunderstorm etc.
Maybe a setting to only show abilities with a cooldown greater than x seconds or something, or the possibility to remove/add abilities to that bar (i don't really need to see the earthelemental CD for example)
    - assuming it goes next to the jamba bars it will be ok, if not it will be subject to the toon order (for repeater clicking)
    - the "do it for all" bar is a good idea, but will require big tweaking for mixed teams (and will contain ALOT of buttons)

Aside from the cooldown display, we can do all of this with Click Bar icons, already.
Although it would be a nice feature for other software options to have too.

not sure how others do it, but at the moment i reserve one of my default UI bars (the bottom right one) for cross team spells.
Basically the whole bar is repeated on all toons and each of the dozen available buttons has a emergency/special ability of one of the slaves (grounding, earthie, B-Rez healer, treants, innervate healer, iceblock, poison cleansing totem, etc

All i do is put the corresponding spell on the bar for the specific toon, and leave other buttons empty.
and on the master i put an empty macro (just the correct icon) to remember what spell is where.

Then in game, all i have to do is click my earth elemental button on my paladin and my shaman casts his earth elemental

As Ualaa said, all it lacks is the cooldown, but since i mainly use emergency spells, it's pretty obvious when they are available or not.

I don't know if Group Cooldowns works anymore, but I was using that to add a counter to certain slave abilities. Specifically, back when Exorcism had cooldown but AoW didn't.

Basically, I had a button set up like Ualaa and Zub {but set up as a mouseover in HKN} that was just an empty macro showing the Exorcism icon on my main with the Group Cooldown overlayed on top.

I honestly clicked on the thread cause of the douchey attitude in the title hoping there was some kind of comical flame fest that I was missing out on.

I am not sure if this would be possible but would Isboxer be able to do something like this?

Instead of having a mouse repeater region, we could have regions of our slaves which would show up on the main. This would give us the ability to track not only cooldowns but also things like holy power which are currently only displayed on the slaves.

My simple non programmer brain would think of something similar to a repeater region defined on the slaves. On the main a similar sized (or possibly smaller scaled region) can be defined so that this area shows up. Now this could purely be a cut and paste of the image that is occuring on the slaves screen at that moment in time; no functionality is required. As mentioned above we already have click bar functionality that can be setup over the top of the "replicator" regions giving us a clickable function to the tool.

    Doable or not?

    Cheers

Just thought another application would be to replicate the map from a slave who might have mine tracking or a hunter's tracking. Currently I just tile one instance over the top of another so the maps are side by side, but if possible, this would be a more elegant solution.

A telescope window should be doable.
It is a feature, of the software which cannot be named, from the other site.

Define an area on the slave/inactive windows, which is displayed on the master/main/active screen.
Set the desired area on both screens and the magnification factor.
    Something like that.

Sounds good. Didn't realise it was a feature in some exisiting software (that which shall not be named... sounds spooky). Do you think it would be possible to layer it with clickbars or some sort of clickable interface Jaf? I am assuming it would be impossible to replicate a small section of the actual window so we don't have to wait for that click to be sent to the target window?

I don't know how that software works and there is no other software that provides that functionality (that I know of). I can't help you with that, you'll want to talk to an application developer, like someone who develops ISBoxer, KeyClone, HotKeyNet, etc.

I did it in a slightly more space consumptive way.
I've got isboxer clickbars set for the casting of the spells.
Then I modified ORA3 to give me multiple cooldown windows.
I set each window to only show a specific cooldown and placing that bar-sized window next to its associated clickbar button.

ORA normally shows all cds in 1 window and they don't stay in the same place, hence the modified multi-window to allow for placement next to the clickbar buttons.
