    Default Holy BM - Hunters got the load!

    okay so seriously, 85 BM hunters in beta have SICK PET DPS. I was rolling off crits from 22k to 30k on them, from the pets! (and this was from my lvl 83 devilsaur on an 85 target!!!!) Obviously there will be some tweaking but if things even stay close, i'm SERIOUSLY considering a team of 4 hunters and X healer as my new pvp team. Right now, 4 pets alone could quite possibly global someone and definitely in 2 globals with zero help from the hunter.
    I played with a bunch of other classes on beta and the only other one I thought could crank the damage was death knight. When you compare the crits from abilities to the overall health of people I was starting to feel down about the future of pvp multiboxing. Of course, this is mostly in 85 greens with a blue weap.

    I kinda hope bm hunters stay a little OP because I could totally see a Rated BG team of hunters that send in pets at 80 yards that just mow through opponents. Not to mention all the new raid wide hunter buffs you could get from 4 different exotic pets...

    Oh, and camoflage, jeesh, whole team can sit perma invisible and insta-gib the first person that comes by. or just send pets and feign death in a bush and they'll never find your team lol.

    If there is an ability so good that it overcomes all the severe weaknesses of a multi-hunter team, it will most assuredly be nerfed.

    Don't fall into the Trap of multi-hunters... (pun intended!)

    This. So many cool things that hunters used to do got nerfed. And not just an adjustment to bring them in line with other abilities...I mean nerfed (as Ghostcrawler would probably say) INTO. THE. GROUND. BABY.

    Ask for nerfs and you shall recieve.

    Hunter (Forums / 3.3.5 Talent Calculator / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)
    • The bug affecting most hunter skills and adding the "old" minimum range on them on beta servers seems to be gone.


    Beast Mastery
    • Widow Venom now costs 15 Focus, down from 30 Focus.
    • Aspect of the Hawk ranged attack power bonus increased by 100%.
    • Intimidation no longer costs Focus.
    • Kill Command now deals [ 21% of RAP + 772.27 ], down from [ 53% of RAP + 839.42 ].
    • Killing Streak now deals 10/20% more damage with your third Kill Command. Down from 15/30%.
    • Focus Fire now restores 4 Focus to your pet, down from 10 Focus.
    • Sic 'Em! now also has a chance to proc from Kill Command, now affects your Pet's next 2 basic attacks instead of just 1.


    Survival
    • Camouflage now causes you to be untargetable by ranged attacks (Old - Just untargetable). Now also reduces the range at which enemy creatures can detect you.
    • Readiness seems to affect Beastial Wrath once again.
    • Black Arrow now costs 35 Focus, down from 45 Focus.
    • Hunting Party revamped and no longer triggers Replenishment. Now Increases your total Agility by an additional 20%, and increases the Ranged and Melee Attack Speed of all party and raid members by 20%.

    lol, well it had to come, pet damage was absurd. beta server just went down so we;ll see what next brings!

    Camo got nerfed aswell.


    However in other news

    Wild Mushroom now becomes visible after 6 sec, up from 4 sec. Base damage increased by 400% (from 269-304 to 1300-1573 damage)


    BAM!
