Talking noob question, repeater regions and macros

Been taking a break for a bit, but I have always ran dps teams: 4 shammys & 1dk 3 rets.

Been thinking about starting a new mixed team from scratch, or maybe move some old toons around on accounts.

I have never played with the repeater regions, but my basic question is. Can you be mashing your few cast sequence macros and also clicking healing assigned repeater regions at the same time? Or is there a slight pause to click heal the repeater regions to top off your tank, then right back to your cast sequence macros?

Sorry if it's a noob question.

    Thanks,
    Acid

With ISBoxer: I tried repeater regions for healing using healbot. In healbot I assign spells to modifier (shift, alt, ctrl). What I found was that the ISBoxer FTL system broke healbot, because healbot was getting the modifiers from the FTL system, due to my mashing keys and clicking at the same time.

What I ended up using was ClickBars in ISBoxer which don't have the same problem (they don't repeat the modifiers), you can find my post describing that here:

    Hope that helps.

I use a 6 button mouse, repeater regions and VuhDo. Use a dedicated healer. Don't use any modifiers for your click heals and there is no problems getting your heals off. This does limit how many actions your healer can perform -but- less is more sometimes when it comes to keeping things simple and easy to remember.

Remember you can map your mouse scroll up/down for 2 more actions in addition to your standard mouse buttons. I don't recommend trying to bind the scroll wheel button feature (if your mouse has it) due to inadvertant mouse wheel rotation.

Also, you can still map one or 2 keys for that 'Oh Sh!t' moment macro going to your healer only. This will free up a mouse button from needing the panic heal mapped to it.
