    You know how on the final bridge there are four guards. Kill the first two guards and then pull the last two guards to where the first two guards were at the beginning of the bridge. Vazruden(the orc) will just sit in the middle and Nazan (the dragon) will start fire-bombing and rotating between three spots on the platform. In two of the spots you can nuke him without aggroing Vazruden. Takes a little more time but it is a lot easier.

    However if you die to the dragon before aggroing the orc, the dragon will despawn but the orc will stay and you will have to reset to complete quests or get the chest to open.

    Tried the dragon as lv62 with no success. ;( ;( ;(

    I read from Wowhead that the dragon lands @ 25% so it may actually sound better to DPS the dragon without touching the orc? With 10k armor, it's pretty much no harm for the orc to beat my paladin.

    Gotta try next time. May as well try @ 63 again since I foresee some armor upgrades in Terrokar.

    Well what went wrong? Can't figure out how to beat the encounter unless you know why you failed.

    FR totem or aura and a greater fire resist pot does wonders. I remember going in with my shammies at 64, and he let out his hot ass breath on my group twice and killed us all. :love:

    I did it at 62 with 4 ele shammies and a prot pally. Fire resist aura and even fire resist totem are key, as well as spreading out. I did not dps the dragon in the sky (though I didn't know about it at the time), just bursted down the orc and avenger's shield + taunt'ed the dragon when it landed. Keep the shammies spread out at max distance.

    I actually find that it is easier if I keep my shammy DPS squad all clumped up in a pile. I use my L70 Shaman as "tank", meaning once the two guards are down to start the event I go kill the rider, drop a fire resist totem in a more central spot, and then tank the dragon more towards the center of the circular platform. The DPS squad is at range, but probably not exactly max range.

    If I see a fire bomb land on the pile, I use my alternate movement keyset (the arrow keys) to just step them forwards or backwards out of the burning patch. Same with my "tank", except I just strafe to avoid a burning patch.

    I'm sure either technique will work, the advantage of Vyndree's "keep em spread out" plan is that if a fire bomb does land on someone, it's only gonna hit one, most likely. I like having them in a compact little pile so that the fire bomb's effect is easy to see. I literally watch the DPS squad 80% and the tank 20%, ready to interrupt casting to move the team out of the mess.

    A lot of times, there's only one or maybe two moves that's required before the dragon dies.

    Take a fire pot, put down groundings all of the time (even when the dragon lands!!!) fire ress aura, and win, downed on lvl 61, i frapsed it, if anybody wants to i can upload it tonight?


    Almost forgot, watch agro! the dragon has seperate agro, when he drops, let your tank take a pot and get some base agro, after that you can heal him. If you heal him before he has at least some agro on the dragon, he will be hard to get of your group (or whats left of it ). I did put salvation on my shammys for this fight, didnt need the mana anyways, helped a lot!

    my pally was lvl 61 my shammies where 60
