Default Rank the useful tools of Jamba

I'm hoping this thread serves a few purposes. One, it tells Jafula how much we appreciate the addon by showing what the users use. Two, it may show people some functionality in the addon that some didn't know about. Three, it may single out areas of improvement.

Please rank the features of Jamba. In other words, whatever you can think of off the top of your head, make a list and put which feature you like the best.

Here's mine (ranked most loved first):

    1.) Follow status
    2.) Auto repair
    3.) Quest completion/accepting
    4.) Whisper forwarding
5.) Promoting of current toon to group leader
6.) Setting loot to free for all
    7.) Experience tracking
8.) Proc alert (haven't used much, but hope to in the future)

Many more, but they're not popping in my head right now

    I like:

    1) Item bar - drag item to bar to be shown on all toons.
    2) Jamba-Macros - on my paladin to swap between ret and prot macros, all I do is change a tag on the paladin and click the rebuild macros button. My keys never change.
    3) Jamba-Proc - nice to see my mage hotstreaks now.
    4) The soon to be released Jamba Quest Watcher.
    5) The auto-every quest related bits - never have to read quest text again and the auto-pick rewards (logic added by loop) except for blues is just sweet.

How sad am I that I have never even seen these features. My boxing has slowed alot, so ISboxer and Jamba are on the back burner. The new machine will help and finding a team which does what I want would also increase my drive to do what is needed for a true boxing player
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

I'm glad you replied, Jafula, because I didn't know some of that functionality existed!

Jamba item bar? Say what? I'll have to check this out later!

I know you're using ISBoxer - are you building your macros in ISBoxer or using Jamba's functionality for it?

    Good luck with that!

Item Bar, see the Jamba Getting Started sticky for more info.

I use both macros from ISBoxer and Jamba-Macros. ISBoxer has a ton of great default ones; shame not to use them.

It's not quite questhelper, more quest tracker, but since blizzard has the main questhelper functionality built in and jamba utilizes that, I guess you could say that.

    Where to start.

    Ok:

    1: Follow Strobe
    2. Broken follow warnings.
    3. Auto-merchant for buying/selling consumables/crap
    4. Auto-quest share.
    5. Auto-free-for-all looting.

I could go on. I've happily donated to help Jafula out and plan to again.

Also - quest tracker eh? Yes, please - I'd love to make sure that my followers are all at the same stage of a quest my lead is. I had an instance where (somehow!) one of my followers didn't get credit for killing the Commanders in Icecrown (BBC quest), and he had to go back and solo it, because the others already handed it in and therefore phased out synch with him.

Now, I manually check to make sure they've all got quest credit when doing the argent dailies before I hand 'em in.
...for when one toon just isn't enough...

    Horde Caelestrasz Multiboxer:
Team1: 5xPaladin....Level 80 - Heroic gearing completed. WTB [Frost Badge] pst pls.

    From a high-level "module" perspective:

    Disabled modules
    • Jamba-DisplayTeam (Pitbull tells me what I need to know)
    • Jambe-Follow (strobing not used; too many situations where I need explicit control over who follows and who doesn't; also, OhNoes works much better for me than a text message for follow-break events)
    • Jamba-FTL (I don't use ftl at the moment)
    • Jamba-ItemUse (I put all my daily items in a huge macro; never have to click anything, just press my button; might try this if I level a new team in the future)
    • Jamba-Macro (never tried it)
    • Jamba-Proc (I don't bother with this as my teams don't use any procs that require micromanagement)
    • Jamba-Purchase (I use FreeRefills for this)
    • Jamba-Sell (I use AutoProfitX for this)
    • Jamba-Talk (I don't bother with this any more; I just don't get enough whispers to bother, except from gold spammers which I don't want forwarded anywho)

    Enabled modules
    • Jamba-Quest = pure awesomeness, especially for dailies. I don't use the tracking part, only the quest accept/complete/abandon portions.
    • Jamba-Taxi = simple but saves annoyance. Only thing I'd prefer to see here would be a notification that "Slave X does not have that flight path."

OMG; DOH! I put that warning in there ages ago in 0.4; but when migrating to 0.5, I made an error and it doesn't actually work. I'll fix this for next release.
