    Default Repeating with G15 keybord

I am woundering about the repeating funktion on my G15 keybord. I kan put a macro to ex G1 and have it repeat while i hold it and have a delay so when i hold the button it pushes the button in a sertain pace. Is this ok with blizzard or does it lean towards automation?

Can you do it in game with macros? Yes, its probably ok. No, its probably not okay.

Edit: from what you describe, I would not do it myself. Seems bad.

What i can do is to configure the G1 key to push for example Q every secound and have a click macro on the Q key

    Edit*

    While holding the key

From what I understand, one keystroke=one action (one keystroke meaning the press and de-press of the key) so yes, I think Blizzard WOULD see this as automation.

Yeah Hive is right there. Blizzards stance has always been 1 keystroke equals 1 action (unless otherwise permitted by the macro system) and what you're doing couldn't be done via macros. It's automating it and Blizzard would I'd bet see it that way if they ever caught you (though, I don't see how they could, but hey, why risk it).

Blizz has made it clear a button push is one down and one up.

It is a keystroke both upp an down. But what could get me caught for doing it is the exact same time between strokes. Exactly 0.5 seconds. It would not be random as it is today when i strike the key manualy

Yes it's against Blizzard's game rules to use macros with delays or macros that loop. Are you going to get caught? No, it is very doubtful you'll ever get caught for such a petty violation. What's funny is...apparently Blizzard's own WoW mouse by Steelseries is able to include delays and such into the custom macros.

But they do have a warning on the software saying it is indeed an issue.

Could you do it, with the Logitech Profiler software?
    Yes.

    Should you do it?
    No.

I wouldn't see a problem with something that is done once when pushed, and/or once when released.
But if you'll have multiple events (repeating) every "x" seconds while the toggle is held, that's automation.
