    Default Jamba auto-repair disconnecting.

I have been having trouble with one of my 5 man teams disconnecting (all accounts) when I interect with NPCs. I narrow this down to the following conditions:

    • Only 1 of my teams is affected. Paladin & 4 Shaman is fine but my mixed team (War, Prst, Lock, Lock, Mage) disconnects.
    • It only happens talking to a repair NPC
    • It only happens on characters that have damaged equipment, so if one has damaged gear the others talk to the NPC fine but that one disconnects.
    • It only happens if the auto repair option is selected in Jamba

I am running Jamba v0.5h2 (latest Curse updater version).

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be really helpful. I really miss the auto repair feature on my second team

Jafula is pretty good at getting to these threads.
That said, a private message or a post in the Jamba thread is better.
I believe he has email notification set on that thread, so you'll get a faster response there.

What other addons are you running? Try disabling all except Jamba and see if the disconnection still happens. There have been a few bugs with disconnection when repairing, but the last reported one of those was fixed a long time ago.

When all else fails, wiping the game cache usually fixes these types of disconnects for me. Corrupted cache data will punt you every time. If this doesn't fix it then deleting the saved variables for the effected toons would be next.

Also make sure you don't have another addon attempting auto repairs in additon to Jamba.

    Good luck

I have sorted out the problem. It had something to do with the the message display settings. That group had been setup to display messages in party chat rather than the default chat frame. When I set it back to the default chat frame setting (the default setting) it started working again.
