Default Interact with target sometimes fails

I have a melee group I'm playing with. I used the generic ISBoxer wizard setup which tends to do the FTL for you.
It all worked fine until I got to Zul'Farak at apx level 45.

Now interact with target doesn't seem to be working, I can't tell if they aren't getting a target ( FTL isn't working ) or if it's because Interact with target+CTM is failing.

it works most of the time but sometimes it just gives out and stops working all together.
very frustrating if your in an instance and you team won't attack anymore.

when I switch screens the error says "the target is too far away" but in the process of switching screens the target seems to be cleared.

I've never had interact with target (IWT) fail to work. I use the IWT as generated by the Quick Setup Wizard, and I use it manually as opposed to added onto my DPS keys.

With that said, to understand how your IWT might be failing to work I need to see your configuration. To share it, use "Copy ISBoxer Toolkit Profile to Clipboard" from the File menu in ISBoxer, then paste it on pastebin.com and share the link. The copy to clipboard option gives you privacy controls to hide your account names (hidden by default) and character names (not hidden by default) so please don't just open the XML file and copy it manually.

I currently have the Z & 1 setup as interact with target on my melee team. 2 is my dps key.
I just kind of spam between 1 & 2. 1 as needed to get them to the target and 2 to kill it.
when IWT fails I'm pressing 1 and nobody moves like they normally do, I can sometimes get control back but I haven't figured out why I get it back... it just kind of comes back.

I have no problem with changing the config around. I've noticed others using the R key and was thinking of switching it.
I've done other melee teams but this is my first melee team using ISboxer.

oh yeah, requeue is the melee team.

IWT fails in general, regardless of ISBoxer, especially in ZF.

There is something about the subtle rises of the ground in there that will cause the pathing algorithm to fail and your guys to just stand still. There are a few other old world instances where this fails also, but none as bad as ZF. It also has failed on me in a few of the Outland instances, but never any Northrend instance.

What I do in the cases that I press my hotkey for IWT and my guys just stand there like idiots, is to just press my /follow key to bring them in. If they aren't quite where I want them with that, I try IWT again now that they are closer to their target. Sometimes they then path correctly, sometimes they just barrel on by their target, and I have to hit /follow again to bring them back.

It is very annoying, but again it isn't ISBoxer. It is Blizzard's buggy pathing algorithm.

    I had something similar today.

The quest where the Captain has you go into the hold, to recover blasting powder.
To then use the cannon and kill the giant, who is along the shoreline.

IWT didn't want to work, in the hold.
Basically used follow to get them kind of close.
Then hit my up-arrow key, which is independent slave forward.
    Which moved them into range.

Without any changes, as soon as I was on the shore/island, IWT worked exactly as expected.

I have the problem with one of my guys running past the mod I want to do the IWT one. It's not a specific toons which does this, its totally random. I have bound IWT to E and follow to F so when I spot it I hit F and the toons follow me.

I have actually had a toon run off into multiple packs of trash mobs causing me to wipe... I just laugh at this though

Sometimes, I swear there is an invisible GM lurking around my team, that likes to mess with one or more of my characters just to make sure I am at the keyboard controlling my characters.
