I haven't specifically farmed for hilts either, but have done HFoS and HPoS many times and haven't seen one drop. I'm not too anxious about them. They were around 5k on my server last time I checked, and I am still buying fast flyers for my new team, so I'm probably going to have to wait to upgrade to some green item at around level 80 1/4.
