Jump start my new DK Tank using a GDKP raid

I've never really done much with the increasingly popular GDKP raids on my server, but last night I was curious and joined a GDKP raid of ToC-25. Got lucky with drops and a lack of competition, but I basically ended up with L245 Chest, Legs, Amulet, and a Trophy that I will redeem for a fourth 245... All for about 1800g total.

What a score! I can't help but think I will be doing this again to help jump-start some of my freshie-80 team with some decent gear...

Hehe nice. I've been doing GDKP runs on my priest the past 2 weeks. I posted this to our DiT forums for people that may want to gear up a toon:

As a few of you know the past 2 weeks I've been lucky enough to get into a GDKP ToC25 run by <Ground Monster Alien> guild. They run Saturday afternoons, just watch trade chat. It seems they need bidders / buyers because I was able to walk away this past Saturday with even more loot than I did last weekend at even cheaper price. 2 weeks ago I spent 7400g and got paid 2100, so I walked out with 3 trophies for 5300g. Which is far cheaper than any other guild selling trophies. This past week, I walked out with 3 MORE trophies and 2 pieces of gear for around 4k, plus got paid 1400g for the run. If you need gear and have gold to spend, watch for them, I've been told they want you to bring at least 10k for being a bidder, otherwise they may not invite you, they stack the raid with rich people to try to make sure everyone walks out with a decent amount for their time.

Here's some prices I've seen loot go for to give you an idea:

DV: 16k
Solace: 15k
Melee Weps: 5-7k
Armor: 500-3k
trinkets: 3k+
Trophies: really depends, I've been lucky and paid 1300g-2600g each.

Wow that is amazingly cheap! Though I guess because ToC isnt the highest raid teir it isnt that wanted as much, but thats a great haul! Nice!
