    Mage hands down for me, great fun to play all arena brackets and when flying solo in BGs

    I raided with every class except mage in TBC. Started 3 boxing a little before 2.3 hit, then was 5 boxing around Jan after lich king came out. I stopped raiding before lich king came out. I have several 80 teams including mixed teams.
    I would have to agree with picking a druid, and my 2nd choice would be an affliction lock. The druid is prime choice just because it can do everything like everyone else has pointed out.
    The affliction lock because I enjoy the complexity the dot rotation can bring.

    Easy question to answer, as I've already suspended my multiboxing to focus on individual toons. Right now I split my time roughly 60/30/10

    60% - My rogue. Who has never been part of a boxed team. She's my original, original WoW toon from when I started way back in the '04 days, so she has alot of sentimental value to me. Rogues used to be the undisputed king of dps on any fight, that's not why I picked the class, I just liked the description and ran with it. Even though we're now subpar in alot of situations, I have the good fortune of being in a guild that doesn't care about that and I still get to go on runs. She was shelved for a LONG time at 70, because in summer '08 I abandoned my old realm and switched to Horde, so I rolled a new toon (see below). But as soon as faction transfers came live, I transferred her to horde, resurrected her, and made her my main again.

    30% - My hunter. When I rerolled Horde in summer '06, I chose hunter, because I knew I wanted a dps'er to be my main still, and had never played a hunter past level 20ish. It was a close choice between that or a druid or shammy, the only three classes I'd never played past 20. Was my main up until faction transfers became live, when the rogue took over the job again. Now, I just do tournament dailies on the hunter and random heroics to get Triumph gear.

    10% - My paladin from my 3-box team, who I do about 3 random LK dungeons a week on as a tank to level her, when time permits from the other two toons.

    I can never have *just* one character that I focus on, I've always been an altoholic. I have everything except druid/shammy at 60+ now on the same realm and faction, thanks to boxing, RAF, boosting, etc:

    Account1:
    * Rogue (80) - main
    * Hunter (80) - main alt
    * Protadin (75) - alt and former leader of my boxer group
    * Prot warrior (61) - another former alliance toon, parked and waiting for 2nd box group to start, will be the leader
    * DK (55) - waiting for me to decide to roll my 3-DK team. I actually deleted my solo 67 DK on the account in order to create this one, even though I'd invested 2k gold in professions on the original DK LOL!

    Account2:
    * Holy Priest (75) - healer of 1st box team. Will be the next toon leveled via dungeon finder after the paladin hits 80 and the hunter is parked due to maxing his Triumph gear (he'll still do tournament dailies for gold tho and one random/day for Frost)
    * Mage (60) - boosted, will join the warrior (above)'s 3-box team
    * DK (55) - to become part of the 3-DK team
    * Warrior (43) - abandoned, was boosting but then I faction xferred my 61 warrior on the main account

    Account3:
    * Demo lock (75) - dps'er of 1st box team. Not sure what will become of her
    * Balance druid (43) - gifted, will be solo boxed to 60 to join the prot warrior from account 1's team as resto
    * Shaman (43) - boosted, abandoned along with the 43 warrior from account2. Planning to tri-box goblin shammies in Cataclysm right from L1+

    At this point in time it's all or nothing for me. Since my new job and the birth of my little girl, I had to stop raiding. I raided so much it almost ruined my marriage. I am definately glad I stopped raiding lol. However i still love this game. There is so much to do.
    I now box because it allows me to do what I want, when I want. Many times I have up and left my desk in the middle of an instance and just let myself get logged out. Or i am farming or doing dailies and have to tend to my daughter Mikayla and just left the group wherever they are.
    I can't solo play anymore because I wouldn't want to do that to the group I am with or my friends who I am playing with. I couldn't be a douche and just leave them hanging like that.

    Yep when my son was born 3 years ago my WOW took a huge drop to the backseat. Saved my marriage too lol. I only did what little I could solo, because at any moment I could have to literally drop what I was doing to tend to baby. I didn't want to do that to instance groups or anything like that. Sometimes over a week would go by where I wouldn't even login. Sometimes I'd login, play 2 minutes, then be AFK for 20+...

    Exactly the reason I box!! Except, my girl was 5 when I started WoW.....same/same.

    Thanks to all for the responses again!

    Firstly noob casual people, they have a lot of max level characters. I think your forgetting that people that cannot raid look for alts to fill something, eg "nobody wants a X, I'll make a healer, zomg they nerfed warlocks, I might as well make a hunter, zomg dk's get free epics" ... those boe epics have to go somewhere.

    For me, tanking is the most fun role in raids/heroics.
    And healing is the least fun, although I was a main healer in classic wow raids.

    I enjoy dps too, but not as much as tanking.

    It is hard to not pick the druid.
    Since they can tank and dps (Feral) and dual-spec (Resto).
    And have a huge gathering advantage, not needing to unmount with Swift Flying Form.
    I main tanked many Karazhan runs and off-tanked SSC/TK some, as a Druid.

    My (Prot) Pally is a better tank.
    Both in terms of gear and mechanics.
    One button spam, as optimal threat for single targets and groups is hard to beat.

    I've also raided on Disc Priest, Demo Warlock, Elemental Shaman and Combat Rogue.

    I'd probably pick Druid too.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

    I find it so funny that so many people have saved their marriages with multiboxing . This is exactly the reason I started multiboxing, everything is on my time plan and not dependent on others. I want to good gear but I cannot devote the time to an uniterrupted raid and so multiboxing has filled that void.
    Also I think we are now all spoiled with multiboxing and being able to nuke mobs so easily, whenever I play a single toon I just find killing stuff so slow
    If forced to I would take my druid or pally also, pally was first toon I had when it was the red headed step child of wow and sucked unless you were holy. My druid I just love for the flight forms etc, so much fun flying around picking herbs in flight form

    let's be original: druid.

    I'm pretty surprised so many people pick the druidclass actually.

    I started wow with trying a couple of classes, enjoyed healing and went with priest till 60 as main. Just before TBC hit i started to level a feral druid and fell in love with it ^^ . Besides boxing i still play my druid feral dps, tank or resto tree. Being able to forfill any role besides that feral is simply OP it's not a tough choice.
