I'm not sure what it's like on your server, but on mine, making cardinal rubies is not good business - after you cut them, they sell for the same as cut king's amber / majestic zircon, but the mats to do the transmute are much cheaper for the latter. And you won't have the tailor CD problem, since eternal air / life is usually in plenty supply.

if i craft here 10 ruby gems (runed or, alot better, bold) i m 100% sure to sell all in one day.
for other gems, in large stocks, it s not 100% sure.
yesterday got one x5 proc on majestic zircon, put in ah 7, solid, 2 unsold.
red finished gems price here is around 170/180g average, in close past was over 200g, eo ofc. eternal fire cost is 20/25g eo, scarlet 40g.
consider here it s full of dks and paladins, maybe 40% of chars when you look around


PS: here i still selling 226 plate items(dps/tank waist) for 3/4k gold too: this is a world of plate wearers
