I found shams to be simpler than melee. With any ranged DPS you don't have the problem you do with melee that your slaves don't get into proper combat range, or that you have to go around the back of the mob to get your slaves closer[1], or that you have to back up to ensure the slaves are in range. Maybe I'm Doing It Wrong (tm)

[1] Granted going around the back of a mob as a tank in ANY group is always good practice. You can always tell the "meh" tanks because they run straight up to mobs and leave it up to the DPS etc. to get behind them. Bad! Why not turn the mob around as the tank, letting the DPS get right to work and avoiding any possibility of being hit by cleave or similar attack?
