I love boosting in SM, found it to be easy to pull all the mobs, leave boostee's at entrance, go on ur pally to the main door, divine sheild while u open it, run in agro boss, then run back to entrance, pulling all mobs with you, pick a spot out of LOS for the casters, so they come in close, spank everything, don't chase the chickens, they come back to you

I use divine plea, sanc, sacred sheild and retri aura.
I love those instances for boosting, feels like they wer designed with pally's in mind

And if your on Darkspear EU, hit me up for a boost

Boosting 45 I would do Scholo, as the largest pulls can be cleared in around 5-6 pulls (at least on my crappy 74 Paladin).

I did Ramps at 55 with my Ret-quest geared lvl 74 Tank specced Paladin. My 4 RAFd alts each got ~1750xp per Elite kill in Ramps, where as they got ~700 from lvl 60 Scholo Mobs, so I would say Ramps is a better choice. If you have an 80 Paladin with any amount of blues, you will be fine in Ramps.

I realize you mentioned 45-60, but I noticed a comment about boosting to 45 in SM and then heading to Scholo/Strat. This is actually a very good idea to skip ZF/BRD/LBRS. Getting to those areas is annoying as hell. It took me nearly 45 mins to walk all the way to BRD. I could have leveled to 42 or even 43 in SM by that time!

Blood Furnace is a wonderful farming instance, in my opinion. I like it much better than Ramparts...

I also prefer Scholomance over Strath/BRD/etc just because you can park a team in the front room and kill the rest of the instance without repositioning anyone. It's also less of a pain to get to compared to LBRS and BRD...
