If you look at his rating progression history, you can clearly see that he broke through 2200 and has been skyrocketing up since.

Weapons make that much of a difference, eh?
    Cranky old-timer.

I would assume it's because others had the weapons and were keeping him down. Now that he leveled the playing field from a gear perspective, and they no longer have a decent advantage, he's tearing through them.

This is extremely impressive. I think many of us hope to find a winning multiboxing combination that others haven't found success with before (aka anything but shamans) but Krom is taking it to extreme levels. I understand why he won't make videos, but I hope to someday see what is going on (maybe once he's bored or wants to try something else he'll make a video for everyone to see what his system is).

You'll have the mana for it but it's not very effective vs. wizard cleave cause they're always on the move away from you. I use it situationally.

Thanks David, I didn't know about that calculator on arenajunkies. I guess I have to go for broke, but I could fall really fast with a few bad losses. We'll see.

The ratings always get inflated at the tail end because teams trade points to boost one team up into the threshold. I would say guess what you think you need and get 30-50 points higher than that to be on the safe side. Ultimately if you want the duelist title as well mark where your threshold is that you can't fall below. It's pretty much gambling at it's finest

Also any value that you see in Hysteria or Vampiric Blood, with your spec you could drop points from the additional snare to grab these, but I'm not sure how crucial that extra snare component is when your already chains of icing.

Unless the calculator was updated it has last season's rating that you need.

You need top 5% for glad... so might have to do the math for your BG. Usually top 3. Honestly if you want glad you might have to win trade unless you are confident you can beat the top teams continuously. You need almost 200 more points for glad, thats if the top 3 don't win trade to the moon when they see you coming for the title.

I would hope that they do win trade and then just report them for cheating. Make it easy to be number1 team, lol.

    Top 0.5% mate

You cant bet on the past 4 seasons that top 5 will get you glad in 5s. Any lower and its a flip of the coin on blizzard inactives and new teams racing up the charts to get in range or to make sure their "mains" get glad/R1 the last weeks of the season.

Rest assured also that is common place for all the teams in range for rank 1 to report all the other teams. However, with that said there is an art to wintrading and people are getting damn good at it. Edit: When I say art I mean not getting caught/disbanded i.e. still receiving Rank 1/glad. Its more common in 5s since there are fewer teams receiving end of season awards.

Teams are close, real close. 50-60 points means spot 4 or 5 if i`m correct. CBA to recheck atm.

I'm not buying the whole "don't want my opponents to see my tactics" spiel. Your opponents can record the fight themselves and watch your tactics over and over, it's kind of silly to think you're hiding anything from them.

I'm going to go ahead and say what everyone else is thinking. You're probably not posting any vid's because you're hiding something about your gameplay setup other than strategy. Something you don't want us to see.

    edit:

either way, of course you're not required to post videos, but you posted your success knowing full well that it would bring massive curiosity. You've been playing 1dk-4pally for a loooong time, so it's not hard to see that most of your success comes from experience. But, when you say you can't fraps due to performance issues it perks suspicion. I mean, you could fraps from a completely different pc. Hell, you could fraps from a piece of junk t-21 calculator on the side and not effect performance. I think people here have even offered to cover expenses for you just to see. Then came the excuses about not wanting to expose strategy to the enemies you play, the same enemies most likely frapsing the matches themselves.

People are curious, and there really isn't a good reason not to show some footage.
