Cleansing Macro

If your party is 4x Ret + 1x DK.

Each of the Ret's has:

/targetparty
/cast Cleanse

Then Ret A, can hit Ret B, Ret C, Ret D or the DK.
And Ret B, can hit Ret A, Ret C, Red D or the DK.
And Ret C can hit Ret A, Ret B, Red D or the DK.
And Red D can hit Ret A, Ret B, Ret C or the DK.

No pally will ever hit themself.
But they have 3 pallies which will eventually hit them.
The macro should work pretty well as is.

ect, seemed to work well. If i need to cleanse one specific target i click them on vuhdo and everyone cleanses that one target.

True m8, it works that way.. but the problem is forexample if two paladins resist the fear they should be able to cleanse the DK and the two other paladins who got the fear but for some reason the paladins who resisted the fear are unable to target my party members in a fear all they do is targeting the warlock or priest who did the fear

In BGs the /targetparty will not always target one of your guys.I would either go with Iceorbz's macro if everyone in your team can cleanse or go with the staggered one posted by Mosg2, I'm using a macro similar to Iceorbz's but am planing to set up keybinds for single target cleanses to remove important effects like fear and sheep fast.

I never used target party ellay. But like the poster above me said, I set it this way so that it would cleanse myself in a raid or battleground.(that was my thinking).

Iceorbz macros are perfect when everyone in your party can cleanse but it doesn't work when one can't. What you can do is use his on the 4 paladins then have a different button to have the paladins cleanse the DK.

Or use decursive/healbot/vuhdo and make repeater regions with inner space/isboxer. ( not sure if you can with keyclone)

then all the pallys who are alive will try and cleanse who ever you mouse over.
I use vudo for healing and cleansing. Love not having more macro's and it works every time. No worries about wondering if and when it will get to the needed toon.

Couldn't you set up a click macro similar to how we're doing DPS macros?


Fundamentally, it looks like DK+4Ret teams need a couple things:

1.) Some way to deal with "Oh Crap" moments, like AoE fear and roots, where you need to get everyone dispelled ASAP.
2.) Coordinated cleansing of everything off a specific target.

Clearly, a grid/vuhdo/mouse repeater region solution is pretty good for #2, but we don't quite have an agreed upon best method for #1.

Grid/Clique/Repeater Region doesn't work as spectacular as you'd think. All 4 of your Paladins (assuming we are still talking DK/4xPally) will attempt to Cleanse a single target, and I don't know about your guys' connections, but it does slightly trigger the gobal (until the server returns that the spell did not go off) on the Paladins whose cleanse was not needed.

I haven't tried the spammable macros, but they seem more viable method for having multiple Cleanses land on multiple targets.
