    SM Cath I find boring but like someone said that it's possible to go lvl28-40 there sounds correct, Library should also be good place since it has the fastest respawns of all the dungeons (around 15 minutes so you could AoE to the last boss then run back without resetting.).

    Negative.

    GM's can't just give you XP for free.
    ".setlevel" is available in the admin console.

    I personally leveled my Paladin ZenTank and Lock ZenDot to level 20 before starting instance grind (they are both BE and the BE starting zone is quick leveling with few drop collection quest). At level 20 I started tri-boxing with my level 70 mage doing AOE. My mage is not all that greatly geared, he just has Netherweave set etc.

    I only did one WC run at level 20 for my Paladin's Class Quest.
    SFK I ran from 21-24

    BFD I ran one time at 24 (hate that instance)
    RFK I ran from 24 - 27

    I intend now to run

    SM from 27 - 31
    Take a break from SM and run RFD from 31-33
    Then go back to SM until 40
    Then...
    Uld to 43
    ZF to 46
    Mara to 47
    ST to 50
    BRD to 53
    LBRS to 55
    Strat/Scholo to 60

    At 60 I will head to Outlands. I like waiting to 60 not so I can make a ton of gold by dinging in Nagard but because dinging in Nagard will leave me with BEM/SMV/NeStorm to do when the Xpac comes out instead of fighting for mobs in the new zones.

    I think you can stand to make MORE money by going to Outlands at L58. I have never really understood the desire to stay in Azeroth until 60, unless Hellfire Peninsula is a PvP gank-fest and you think you might be safer staying on the main continent. Even so, I think it's very worthwhile to do the L58 quest chains that give you significant gear upgrades and then bop back to the main continent.

    I've taken several characters, including my multibox shammy team, to Hellfire at L58 and never looked back. Money, quest XP, and quests to level with have never been a problem.
    Cranky old-timer.

    For me it was doing those initial Outlands quest for the gear upgrade and then going back to the old world until 60. After 2.3 the quest in WPL/EPL can ding you 60 without much problem. My main reason on my second 70 was to save 3 zones for when the next Xpac comes out so I can ding in them.

    My reason for waiting till 60 is, I'd rather be on or ahead of the curve quest lvl req-wise than behind it. If i don't have a quest to do, I have nothing to do. I can't stand to grind without a quest-related reason. So if I start Hellfire at 60, not only will the mobs resist my spells less and the fights'll go smoother, but the quests will be constant, so that I can quest quest quest, move on to nextmap, repeat smoothly.

    If I start at 58 I'm gonna get alot of resisted star/moonfires/wraths and I've been having my alts help dps for about 20lvls now, saves time and gets practice in; if they resist I have to waste more mana killing mobs myself when one or both of their wraths would have killed the mob had it not resisted. Plus, it means more of the good exp quests will be available at 70 for money-grinding; I spent a weekend questing on my rogue in SMV and went from like 200g to 1300g without even realizing it till the next day when I wondered wheretf all that gold came from lol, and he's barely scratched the beginning Netherstorm quests to boot so I've got another bit of gold waiting on me when I get around to it ;p

    Yeah I remember on my first 70 who was a Balance Druid (take it you are balance or resto) how sucky questing was by heading to Outlands at 58. Of course that was back in the pre-2.3 days now I don't see any reason to head to outlands at 58 other than those first few green items.

    Well I got my Druid up to 58 now. This is the first time I have power leveled a toon and my /played is at 3 days 23 hours. I know it not very impressive, but there were some things I did that wasted time(not that I regret them) just learning. I pvped some, and I quested up to 18(It took me 18 hours to get to 18, almost no rested). Had some trouble dying and what not. I started a pally did starting zone -11, RFC -> 16, 1 WC run -> 17 and that took 7.5 hours.

    I have also charted my progress, and as long as you knock out 3-4 levels per instance it makes the trips between worth it. I ran WC(the second time) because I am levling my JC/Minining, and I was there.

    **Rested bonus - I really struggled with not using my rested bonus. Because double the exp is so sweet. Well I took a mage from 1-60, 100% rested just doing quests) pre patch 2.3 and it took 5 days 15 hours. Although once you hit 60 I think it is totally worth waiting on the rested bonus. For instance in SM, you could hit level 35 non rested in 45 mins, or you could wait a week and a half and knock it out in 25 mins. But you would also have to get to an inn and run back to the instance which would take 5-6 mins...

    Again this is with an aoe class, pally or mage. I also do all the quests for the zones, because they can usually be found in major cities and my mage can port them.

    1->11 Starting zone

    12->16 RFC (auto follow spam rank 1 aoe) never stop to loot, except bosses. I really hardly break stride in this instance. At 16 the progress starts to slow.

    17->24 SFK (again auto follow spam rank 1) once you get enough hit your higher rank aoe. Again no need to loot unless you loot while the main drinks. With this strat you main should have a ton of mana left over. Also remember the aoe cap is intended to effect when you have 10+ mobs, so if you have 10 or 15 mobs its the same total damage, just spread out over 15 units rather than 10.

    25->28 RFK If you are trying to set some record, stay in SM. If you want some varitey and good loot go to RFK. I auto followed, spammed rank 1 aoe.

    25 -> 28 SM, because you toon is a lower level, and there is a good aggro/death chance. i reccommend the main round up groups then aoeing. This avoids corpse runs and really doesn't add much time. Also skip graveyard, and only do library as little as possible(I had LOS issues, and missed some guys wich caused deaths).

    29->40 SM Back to the cath/armory. Now you can finally wear all the blues that have been dropping.

    from a powerleveling perspective you could go to ZF and grind that out. But I found that power questing can move things along very quickly. You need to go to Arathi to level your first aid(knock out some quests there). You might as well take your new mount go to badlands knock out the 4-5 uldman quests(with one more friend), also do the quests in the badland(some you just have to buy some things from the AH).

    Arathi/badlands/Ulda->43

    or ZF ->40->43

    At 43 there is a quest chain that starts on the east coast of tanaris that leads to the ST. get that and go to Feleras.

    There are a bunch of quests in feleras(sorry allies) that you can knock out quick.

    Next feralas(quests)/ZF/Tanaris(quests)->47

    Go to the hinterlands and knock out all the quests for JintAlo... whatever it's called. The MOBs are non elite now, and the quests still give the same rewards.

    ST 48->50 This zone is pretty friendly to aoe grinding. I'm sure for a pally it would be much easier. The drops are great and there a some good quests for here as well.

    Ungoro Crater 51-52 there are a ton of quests here and with your main leading the way they should be knocked out quickly. The exp from dungeons vs the time it takes just seems to be a waste without quests.

    Felwood 53->54 There are enough quests here for 2 full levels.

    Winterspring 55->56 More good quests/exp

    Well I know you aren't supposed to go to the outlands until 58, but did you know you can get honor earlier?

    Hellfire Pennusla, if you are trying to level as fast as possible this probably isn't the way to go, but if you care about honor and being in a good position for tradeskills/rewards when you hit 70 then you may want to follow this.

    The path to glory had orcs on it that give 5 honor thrallmar/HH up until 2999/3000 neutral. Might as well have your main grind them while following. this got me to 57,and you'll have some greens to wear.

    Zangarmarsh - you need 360 unidentified plant parts fro CE rep to get to honored. you could gind out the bog lord in western Zangarmarsh, they will drop the plant parts AND give sporregar rep. You really don't want to do any CE quests until you do these plant part turnins. It makes hitting exalted much easier.

    you should be at 58 now and ready to start knocking out quests. GL and I'll keep you posted on what I learn.

    I've been trying to level my 5 box combo through quests and casual instance running but I'm thinking of dumping the druid and boosting my shamans with my level 70 paladin. I think what slows questing down the most (other than collection quests) is the large amount of attention from strangers when they see a multi-boxer. Although this attention is expected and welcomed, it becomes tedious replying to the same "WTF??!?!?" every few minutes. After replying to whispers (some ppl ignore my dnd and whisper my shaman clones instead of my main too) I find myself only finishing a handful of quests when I would have cleared half the zone if I was leveling solo.

    I went to Outlands with 4x L58 Shaman and L70 Paladin. After doing most all HFP quests (I skipped some annoying collection ones, like the food quests from goblins) and Ramps/Furnace a couple times each I was halfway through L61. I like to be L62 before starting Zangar, so I went to UB and ran until I dinged. Only took a couple hours and put me halfway through Friendly with CE as well. Turned in enough plant parts to hit Honored and I'm right where you'd usually be in the normal Outlands progression. I did over 2 days, had a little bit of rest XP but not much at all.

    I'll be skipping a few collection quests in Zangar as well (collect bug parts, mushrooms, etc), hoping to make L64, if not then I'll go grind Mana Tombs or something. I don't get a lot of playtime during the week so I should be able to rack up some rest XP to help out.
